I might a bit late for the bandwagon but I just recently read the manga of this chapter and yeah... I honestly think this was an utter trashfire although in a laughable kind for the wrong reasons as my reactions are either laughed at it or confused by it. Like, I actually understand why this work came across as a pure spite towards other popular Isekais because not only the author picked the characters from said popular Isekais, but also didn't even try to do a research on them, making the characters seem rather unfit and out of place (With Aqua, Subaru and Bakarina knockoffs being the worst offender of them all in my books), and this is the unintentional laughs came from and this is embarrassing considering that this is the same author who made Kakegurui... And yeah, the story itself came across as your typical edgy revenge story from your typical LN played straight just from the first chapter alone... *yawn*.

Although despite all of it's problems, I do give this trashfire a 3-4/10 because for all its awfulness, it does have some redeeming qualities. Like the unintentional laughs that I got from this manga alone and I have to admit that I do find the Witch character to be interesting as hell cuz I love manipulative, mysterious and evil woman that becomes an ally to the protagonist and I'm not gonna deny her design is hot. And yeah, I think we can all agree that the concept or at the very least, the idea of the series is pretty great as I love to see a weakly normal protagonist fighting against an evil yet overpowered antagonist and turning the Isekai protagonist into somewhat of a morally grey or at least a villainous character as there are some Isekai or LN Fantasy stories that do buy into an Invincible Hero power fantasy and give the protagonist either no personality or an utterly repulsive one, and there are many dubious implications in the standard template, even before getting into specific instances of the genre. But yeah, the idea/concept itself is executed very horribly.

Tbh, even if I think the manga is a trashfire, was unintentionally funny at times due to the author's poor research which can resulted on people interpreting the author coming across as a person who is spiteful towards other Isekai considering the characters that he chooses and the story coming across as your typical edgy revenge story that you see in Light Novels, I actually don't want to see this manga cancelled and wanted to know how the author can play with this concept in question and how the story will progress down the line. Who knows it could be either a decent manga or a huge trashfire depending on who you ask and given this is the same mangaka that made Kakegurui? I'm all for it to see how this author can handle the story. Anyways, this is my final thoughts on the manga and if you like it, that's fine and dandy and I respect that but yeah. I still think the manga is crap, even if it's a laughable type of crap.

This manga had great potential.
It used the parodies of the most famous isekai series protagonists, did they cancel it because it made fun of those pathetic protagonists?
If they had given this manga the opportunity I would have loved that they would have added to the parody of a certain anime (which has a manga I suppose, and has a novel) that its protagonist is horrible, the most annoying thing is how the fans of that story try to justify everything that happens makes it worse.
But to imagine that they kill at least the parody of that protagonist would be so satisfying, seriously that protagonist disgusts me so much and I know that if I say the name of the anime their fans will come again to justify all the garbage that it is

If he is going the serious route, the copypaste characters destroys the seriousness of the manga. People will always remember that they are parodies from other popular works. I honestly thought the plot was interesting! But I understand people who doesn't want to give this a read and sees it as cringe. I hope he creates a new universe, in that way he can introduce cheat reincarnations better without tying them into their original counterparts. That would be a good revelation/backstory I think.

The only real hero based of is wiseman's grandchild. Subaru is only simping, ainz dominated and killed humans, Anya is literally a devil in human body, Aqua is more like a villager, rimuru literally won the title merciless because he killed so many people, kirito played the game and was pre destined to be the hero because the game creator gave him dual wielding. Disclaimer: I'm not dismissing the characters and I don't hate them is just a little joke.

The intention or level of creativity is not the point. The matter is simply it's not a socially acceptable thing to do.
Imaging someone make a parady of you as a rapist without your permission. You wouldn't give it a pass just because "it was creative/ interesting". The author could've made the story without stomping on other people's creation. Remember there are acceptable paradies in the form of fan work, not professional works. Yeah it might have been a great story or it mightn't but too bad it was created on the back of a dick move for commercial purpose.
Another thing to remember is that this cancellation was agreed to by the author who admitted it was wrong so even he might not agree with all your white-knighting.

I wrote a comment on another video involving Cheat Slayer actually, It probably sounded like mad rambling from someone who never read the manga though. But I did hear that it wasn't any good from seeing some comments, Idk why people are saying that it would be missed or had great potential if the first chapter is bad. I doubt anyone would go back to a show, a game or in this case a manga series if the first episodes, hours of gameplay or chapter were terrible... But I understand if Cheat Slayer has its fans and I'm willing to talk to them in the replies, So if Sanime or Smartfren Andromax are seeing this, I'll be happy to discuss it with you.

The author of jobless reincarnation wasn't really hypocritical. The only thing they share in common is the stone on the head, their ears are different. They're entirely different races. A race with a stone on its head isn't exactly unique, and even if he said that he was imitating them, imitating a fantasy race is different from imitating a specific characterm

So...I understand the author want to work on an interesting concept but...why does he has to actively borrow appearance and description of other popular character? Why cant they be like original designs and titles? He can still use the same origin story because let be honest, they all the sound the same anyway. Also, when the manga start with the FIRST of 9 main villain being a necrophiliac rap*st then I wouldn't blame the other people from the industry to immediately red flagging the manga considering their character is included in the roster of characters which are likely to commit atrocities. It's a precaution move, but understandable from the publisher perspective.

If copying / referencing a "power" from another source is a crime, DC & Marvel won't have so much super heroes that are practically the same, and just like this manga, only the "powers" that will more or less be the same, until I saw that comparison I didn't even realize they were a reference

To bad this got cancelled, it was basically villain path fable for isekai characters. Except for Aqua, the true villain of Konosuba.

Louis being Rudy actually makes more since his pre-reincarnated matches up better and if he's trying to make a parody of Rudy it's make sense for them to have similar back grounds and then different development post reincarnation. Powers also add up with Rudy being able to cast without an incantation. Another thing would make it make more sense for it to be Rudy is the popularity of the series and much like Louis being the first of the 9, Jobless was the first iseaki story to blow up as a web novel.

Aside from characters I actually really like the plot. It’s really interesting seeing after they beat their villains that now they can do whatever they want becuase no one can stop them. I feel like if the designs were changed a little more than that’s the only problem.

Aletta had her series opening sang by May'n. That sus enough for me to consider her as a villain. But I am biased. That being said, her Cheat Slayer counterpart, Shijou Yukiko, looked very sinister during the introduction lineup. Louis looked kinda of smug, but overall, other than her, the others looked relatively normal in the meeting.

The titles aren't exactly flattering. God's Mistake, Fallen Goddess, Villainous Girl. They aren't exactly heroes. More like aheroes (not heroes, but often mistakenly said as antiheroes).

You will see that the characters are intentionally made to resemble others, to ask many questions.

Such as, why is that Ainz/Don didn't revive Ryuuto's village as part of his army? Why did the Witch said Magic can't revive the dead? And so on…

Including Katarina/Imelda. Katarina's knowledge gained from foresight/'prophecy', meaning she manipulate things based on knowledge of the future. Does Imelda had such knowledge? From the way she talked about Louis, it is as if She is refering to Louis attempting to woe the village's women instead of burning down the entire village. Different village? Different Louis?
