Why Dark Damage Reduction for cards?

Barricade very useful on bombartmentman awswell, skill rune > protect

I thought swiftness was the max and crit was the secondary?

Isnt it better to run specialization for extra dps than swiftness ?

Why is swiftness better than Specialization? I know Swiftness gives CDR but still, Specialization gives Bombardment dmg + Firepower dmg + Awakening dmg. and i find it way better than using Swiftness tbh.

i thought the meta was to build agility instead of crit? can you explain a bit of this?

If you napalm shot between the delayed nuke and air raid you can apply the increased stagger dmg debuff from napalm shot do both nukes.

Ok so I just hit 50 the other day but don't have energy shield yet, from what I am told you get it with pt.1 of the awakening quest line which I have not been prompted to do. So what do I use until then?

I like to use:
1-Sumon turrent (for the debuff)
2-barrage
3-napal shot (for the 50% extra crit chance of explosion)
4-air raid

Very informative video, It made game play much more fun. There are so many abilities and ways you can build any character it is great to get some perspective on what you should be going for.

why forward barrage? range is short and dmg is low

I run pretty much this same build but my preferred rotation is slightly different.. I like to go turret, shield, homing, air raid, THEN I throw down a napalm with the stagger debuff just in time for it to land a half second before my nukes land, then I can hit them with the rockets and flamethrower while the stagger debuff is still active... its just an obscene amount of stagger damage that way.. only problem is that the rotation is so time sensitive that it feels bad against high mobility bosses.. or if your shield is still on cooldown and youre forced to roll mid combo

Turret and forward barrage are trash :/

I think most people play with high swiftness, especially while learning the game and the fights, as you have zero mobility skills. This also makes the class feel so much more fluid and I recommend this over the crit build. Later on if you want to min/max your damage once you have all the runes and skill points you need and know all the mechanics and boss patterns well, then sure. Switch to a crit heavy build. Personally, high swiftness feels a lot more fun to play *shrug*.

Why mind concentration? You will never run out of mp as artillerist unless you’re versing the few enemies that drain it. Seems like a waste
