the thing with shrek is he talks about these outlandish stories like a frat guy and it doesn't go down well with a lot of the public that aren't military, it does sound like a video game to a lot of people.

All these guys have stories that make them sound like they were literally iron man or something over there, everybody loved them, they pulled off the craziest perfect missions etc.
