It’s crazy this kit is $399 now…
ОтветитьAs a home project diy'er I just picked up the craftsman power tool set at lowes it had a smaller circular saw but its perfect for home repairs and small wood projects
ОтветитьI bought the 8 piece set 3 years ago use them everyday the only tool that I burnt out was Sawzall took it back under warranty no hassle got a new one
ОтветитьBaby killing baby eating racist Jessica needs a abortion
ОтветитьGot it for 255.94 😅
ОтветитьDecent ?
ОтветитьI have most of these tools, bought separately, all good quality. My only complaint is the ergonomics of the circular saw, it’s handle is too flat / nearly parallel to the work plane. Otherwise the V20 platform really works great. Thanks for your solid review. I am interested in whether they will be launching a hand planer and router in the V20- that would make this a perfect line
Ответитьcheap plastic
ОтветитьI thought they were a great deal. I returned everything yesterday. Cheap and weak. Couldnt use them for everyday work.
ОтветитьGreat review. I'm sorta regretting spending nearly twice this on a kit that has less tools in terms of big yellow.
ОтветитьI have gotten quite a few of the new Craftsman v20 tools and they all work great for the work I do. A good idea is to keep the batteries in the house during the winter as the freezing temperatures will damage the batteries and they will not recharge when cold. It talks about to much heat in the owners manual but nothing about to cold.
ОтветитьCan you test and compare the craftsman brushless tools that’s been out for the past couple years vs the craftsman RP (Runtime performance) I’d like to know how much better the Rp bushless impact driver is compared to the the regular bushless unpack driver and same with the jig saw..what I’m seeing online the rp models are only around 10 to 20 dollars difference
ОтветитьI just bought the 6 piece set for $100 off at $199, and I absolutely love it. The new Craftsman makes excellent tools and they are basically just cheaper Dewalt tools today as they operate from the same platform
ОтветитьJust my opinion, but this comes off more like an infomercial than a review. (which maybe that was the goal). You just talked about the 'features' but clearly none of these tools were used. I can read all about what they are 'suppose' do on the company website. What everyone wants to know is how they actually perform and hold up. That seems far more valuable information to me.
ОтветитьI’ve had them! Wouldn’t buy them again. Not built to last
ОтветитьNothing wrong with set i missed sale but for 400 dollars i work in some shity areas and theft is problem. I worked for a year every day no problems with any of tools just recommend get a 4 or 5 amph battery for saws
ОтветитьAll brushed?
ОтветитьWhen was this on sale during Christmas?? I'm waiting to see if it comes down in price right now.
ОтветитьMay 2022, The 8 piece kit is listed at $399. The 5 piece kit is still $179. However, both items are "out of stock." Given the new price, is the $399, 8-piece options still a good deal?
ОтветитьNice start for DIY user, but would be better with as least one 4ah battery
Ответить8 tools? that's like 35 buck per tool with two batteries, charger and carrying bags....dang that's a good deal.
Ответитьi wanna to get the miter saw cordless of course.
ОтветитьI agree, for the target demo...this a great set. However, at that same Lowe's for around a month, you could get the Metabo HPT 7 piece kit for the exact same price. Obviously, with that target demographic mentioned earlier Metabo HPT is something many have never heard of. But the step up in quality for the same price? 🤷♂️
ОтветитьWhen I started like 27 years ago or whatever it was I had a corded Craftsman drill, and I still have it. Of course the quality was a lot better back then but honestly I've never needed another drill except for a small cordless for car interiors.
ОтветитьI just recently bought this kit after seeing your review. Nice tools for the money. I also bought the V20 miter saw and the brad nailer. I’m all set for a few projects around the house.
ОтветитьNone of this stuff is on sale in my lowes 😪😪😪
ОтветитьThe impact driver is powerful when you put the 4ah battery on it.
ОтветитьLowes has lots of their Brushless stuff on Clearance right now. I just got the Craftsman 4 tool Brushless kit CMCK420D2 for $75. I also got the 7 1/4" BL saw for $43, BL grinder for $40 and the Hammer drill kit with 2 batts and charger $47.
ОтветитьHonestly for a new home owner who isn't a craftsman (pun intended), this is a tremendous value. While the tools may not be up to daily driver standards they will most likely last for years for a new home owner or someone just getting into projects. It gives them a variety of tools to get jobs done. By the time they have more experience they can slowly replace the tools one at a time with better quality stuff. Or alternatively if they realize a few years down the road that they would rather hire someone else to do the work they haven't invested a tremendous amount of money in tools that they will never or rarely use.
ОтветитьCheck out my BRUSHLESS tool haul video. Think i was able to secure some crazy deals!
ОтветитьGreat bang for the buck starter set for sure.
ОтветитьThat's a good deal
ОтветитьThey have certainly been putting out some decent product for the price recently. Picked up some OPE on clearance late last year so had some bigger batteries for this year. Picked up the drill/circ. combo and got the osc tool for freebie. Wish their batteries weren't so expensive though......only downside. Craftsman thinks they're the other red tool company with battery prices.
Ответить$279,craftsman 8 tool combo a great deal 👍👊
ОтветитьThat kit reminds me of the Porter-Cable kit I bought about 12 years ago...
I got it when I first started using cordless tools...really good starter kit... they worked fine and did everything I needed to do at a lower price...
I moved on to another brand but my brother actually still uses that toolset to this day in building maintenance...and repair...👍
Great set for the money for a Diyer or homeowner. I got it a few weeks ago. I tested all the tools and they all worked well. No complaints here. Can’t beat the price at $279 from Lowes.
ОтветитьWow...
ОтветитьHello again Work shop Addict
Thank you for another Great Video. I have to agree with you. That's a Great starter set of tools. Again thank you
Makita last year at HD $699 kit for $399 like a five tool charge 4 amps batterys
ОтветитьI like that this review covers so many positive points with great supporting evidence without bashing a kit for what it isn’t. Great review! Thank you.
ОтветитьFor someone looking for quantity over quality for basic tasks I could see this making them happy. Add in the 20v 7 1/4 miter saw kit that comes with a 4ah batt and maybe a good deal on a nailer, and that would get a lot of small home projects done. Assuming they don't break.
I primarily focus on tools that make my day easier and in return make me money on the job, so not my cup of tea.
Don't waste you money on these Craftsman power tools.
ОтветитьTIM from Canada. This looks like one of those crappy deals like Ryobi.. where are you spend over $300 on a set.. get the crabbiest batteries they make.. here’s something for all of the tool makers out there.. people are spending their money to buy your tools have the decency to put in some half decent batteries..2.0Ah.. oh shit they are not worth the time or the money spent on these kits.. here is a suggestion for you instead of putting in2. crappy .batteries.. try putting in one..4.0Ah.. battery this would be worth buying if you had the brains to figure this one out... but it does not look like this is ever going to happen
ОтветитьSo basically great value for the occasional DIYer or the Home owner with a good chunk of property wanting to take on projects once in awhile. Have to be honest, if an impact driver can't take the lug nuts off of a tire; I'm not interested.
ОтветитьThat's a great value for DIY or limited pro use. A tile guy I know uses some of the V20 tools (drill, grinder, oscillator) and they have held up well because he makes a few cuts, fastens some backerboard, and then muds and sets tile. The 4aH batteries have worked well for him, too.
Nice review as usual. Happy holidays to everyone.
I've been buying a few craftsman v20 tools on sale lately. Their 18ga nailer, vacuum, oscilating tool, and jigsaw.
They're pretty well made for the price, but definitely not tools I would use to make a living on. Great value for tools that you use for ocassional projects.
Overall this looks like a good deal for someone who's just getting started with power tools.
Unremarkable
ОтветитьThis would be a great choice to throw in a vehicles trunk in the case of a SHTF situation.
ОтветитьJust need a miter and a finish nailer and you’re good for life with this set lol. Or at least for next 5-10 years.
ОтветитьWoooof thats a deallllll
