Lenovo is Chinese. Why aren't they sanctioned?

It seems lenevo is not involved in Chinese spy program. Otherwise they can embed chip inside every motherboard that can communicate with Chinese servers.

Simple, Lenovo is not build 5G and communication networks - for spy, intelligent and tapping you... get it 😮😮😮

The true reasons, you don't want to say them aloud, are: 1. Lenovo is not a high tech company, it's just a system integrator taking over labour-intensive work from the US with very little added-value; 2. Lenovo, just like Samsung, is effectively controlled by the US, can be easily smashed if US really wants to.

General public opinion in China is very much against calling Lenovo a Chinese company, especially after the DiDi IPO incident.

So, apart from those who can easily become really agitated by simply hearing the word "china", most of the US senators are smart enough to not sanction a US company with some dubious Chinese connections.

Its my favorite cheap brand. When I don't want to spend a lot of money. PC laptop and tablet wise. Pretty sure they make Motorola phones too. Lol

It's absolutely the smoothest laptop I've used and has the little mouse joystick in the middle of the best feeling keyboard ever <3
Dell's and HP's I've used are absolute junk next to this. The matte black colour, soft touch feel and flexible body are just spot on!

I studied economics, when the country taking protective measure to keep out invading tech/better tech overseas, that's the beginning of a sign of a wanning economy and a country as a whole. It's like keeping a 1600 SAT score student from succeeding. He may not go to Harvard but one day he will be a professor from Oxford. We (US) must get our act together! Now instead of innovating, we are discussing how in the world did Huawaii create that new chip, did they stole that from someone, did they work with someone secretely, did china actually file all these international patents and beating us or is it is an error, or better yet, did chinese hacker hack into the database that shows international patents and changed owners from US to China? That's the level we are playing now... just look at us!

My first computers were Dell laptops, configured for top notch use, my last unit was stolen and I need to get one off the shelf. At that time dell can only be bought online, and took 1 week to be delivered. I simply chose lenovo, I didn't expect Lenovo low end laptop to perform better than Dell. But it did.

I had a Thinkpad T60 back in 2007, it had both IBM and Lenovo logo and even when I took care of it it broke the hard drive stopped working.

The problem with Superfish was that it was on the BIOS. You could not remove it. It always came back.

Apple is losing because of Apple not huawei. Their iPhone 15 offers nothing new for the last 5 years except new casing. There is no way they can do satellite calls.
