Imagine people from 1800 saw that
ОтветитьSo to be clear this a wild dreamer of an idea. To be clear furthermore this is a brainstorming concept and is in no way likely feasible with modern technology. I am even yet unsure that no one else has thought about this yet either. I am told metal printing is still miles from reliable under extreme mechanical pressure due to structural integrity. So what if we flipped this upside down what if we printed at the surface of a large vessel and pulled the printed object down into a larger tank. Lets say for a moment we could modify the polymer media to have extremely high resistance to extreme temperatures. We could produce the shape of a casting mold into the media keeping it empty of fluid as it submerges. At the end of the print we have a casting mold suspended in the polymer liquid. We then fill it with molten materials like steel or aluminum. the remaining un activated material that is still liquid could be heated or cooled to a large spectrum of temperatures for annealing, quenching, or heat treatment. the mold perhaps could be vibrated at certain phases to reduce air in the cast. I think the mold would create smoother finishes requiring less material to be removed for finishing. It might create a more accurate cast with less deviation. green sand requires a lot of setup time. this could be setup in minutes through cad software and the pre existing parts could be 3d scanned for coordinates. you could cast a part dump the tank and in five minutes produce a new part. this would reduce supplier constraints in machine shops. I know this is a pipe dream but I view a time coming where machining and additive manufacturing will come together in hybrid machines of manufacturing.
ОтветитьDoes it warping?
ОтветитьWhen I see such things, I forget that I'm an engineer and feel like a 6 year old who appreciates technology like magic.... :)
ОтветитьAre there any public companies who use these liquid resin printers?
ОтветитьI really want this, but I don't have that kind of money right now
Ответить6 years later you get a resin printer for $200
ОтветитьReporter had no time to wait for sample print as they had to head back to office hence the footage was not comprehensive.
ОтветитьYeah we got the Form 3‘s
ОтветитьI run my used IPA through a coffee filter or two once a week and it removes all of the resin, thus saving the now expensive/hardish to find IPA, to be reused. Cheap and easy
ОтветитьMan, only 5 years and resin printing has come so far. Just bought an Elegoo Saturn for a 1/6th the price while still printing faster and with higher resolution. Insane.
Ответитьwhere can I find any of these stl files to print ?
ОтветитьDont support a cartridge system dont buy it
ОтветитьThis is Peachy Printer but way better and successful.
ОтветитьSuper! 👍
ОтветитьWhat kind of 3d printer is that , can you tell me ?
ОтветитьExcellent !
ОтветитьWhy cant a system be installed that maintains the resin at a nominal volume ie; 3-5mm from bottom at all times
ОтветитьFun fact: the Elegoo Mars, another resin SLA printer is available on Amazon for $280. The future is now.
ОтветитьWhat is the point of the wiper? To confuse buyers with an extra gismo? I lifts the part up and then the wiper just moved the resin around?
ОтветитьBro where can I buy this printer?? Please!
ОтветитьCartridges? NO THANK YOU, I PASS. they probably cost more than the printer.
Ответитьlove engraving and laser cutting with Endurance laser installed on my 3D printer
ОтветитьI live in South africa and here it is even more expensive I paid close to $6000 for mine and do not even mention the price of resin here.. And we earn a lot less then in the US but it still is profitable for me as this printer has paid for itself over and over again . I do need the high resolution of the printer and the castable resin it can print. The closest rival to this machine granted it is a better machine is $ 10000 more expensive
ОтветитьHello CNET, can y use your video for non commercial serious game ? I work in fablab in France.
Ответитьlmao, someone split the video in half to render it faster but forgot to color correct/adjust brightness.
ОтветитьD16, 2018----And now the Anycubic Proton resin printer is available for $400-$500.
ОтветитьNeeds to be attached to a vacume chamber to stop bubbles from forming.
Ответитьany difference with carbon 3d printer?
Ответитьcan u figure out how to make 3d printed money ill buy
ОтветитьThis printer is an absolute disaster for commercial use. We've been using it in our business for 1 year now and have trouble with it every 2 or 3 weeks: tanks not recognized, cartrdiges not recognized, non adherance to the build platform. We also had to have the optical system recalibrateDon't get me wrong: when it prints it does a fantastic job, but this machine has some serious reliability issues... We're going to look for another (proffesional) brand.
ОтветитьWhat do you use to clean your build platform?
Ответитьcan you easily remove the support material in SLA 3D Printers? not specific on one brand but with different brand or manufacturer?
ОтветитьI really need this, so I can make epic stuff that can be used for lost casting complex metal stuff. Much easier for me to use 3d software than actual clay.
ОтветитьThis kind of printer REALLY reminds me of the Small Soldiers movie.
ОтветитьMegustaria in tutorial
Como aser un anillo de
Grado
can you print a roll of plastic sheeting?
Ответитьits very very slow
Ответитьso why ON EARTH would you even consider buying a ultimaker anymore if you can get THIS for the same money??
ОтветитьHello. where i can buy uv material like a plastic or resin? Ebay, aliexpress? How to search it?
Ответитьno future for SLA 3d printers (small print area & too much care... cleaning and so on... Not real desktop & portable 3d printer)
it's too expensive for hobby enthusiast...
(just forget print parts for Quadcopters or Toys....material poor quality not strong)
soooo good luck... SLA users...
Aww ... this is where the prototype M1 3d Printer come from :)
ОтветитьWhat a printer!!!
ОтветитьModels are to small. Limit my visions
ОтветитьCan this print with silicone? Or does it work with the Discovery attachment to enable it to do so?
ОтветитьWish I could afford one of these
ОтветитьThat's great, but, will it blend?
Ответитьwhat software do i need for this
ОтветитьMan, we really are getting ever closer to the Star Trek replicator, aren't we?
Ответить
