God is an awesome God. With God all things are possible. I hope you can find a place. Everything is so expensive, and home and land prices have increased so much. There recently was a letter to the editor in our paper and the guy said his home value had increased from $300,000 to $405,000, which is a 33.3% increase. He said that they had worked hard all their lives, and he was 84 and his wife a little behind him, so he didn't see going back to work for either of them an option. He thought the people deciding to raise the value so much didn't take into consideration that the people living in the house both draw SS and it's hard to keep a home up with repairs, landscaping, etc. He said they did have a nice home that they had worked for and was thankful for it, but if he sold it for the $405,000 it would cost about $30.000 for the realtor fee and closing, etc., so he said, Is it really worth that, and would it be possible to buy something else that they could afford to what they have now. (Nope!) He said he thought the housing market was about to burst. Then he said all that equaled insanity. I have to agree with him. His taxes are going to go up and he did mention that. They put mine up $30,000 more and my taxes last year shocked me, as compared to what they were! Yikes! I need to have some repairs done on my place this summer, and it's scary to think of the cost!! I don't know. It's crazy how the prices of homes have skyrocketed. Before this rise, my brother and his wife found a home for, I think it was around $120,000, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, garage, laundry room, and sunroom, and it's a double lot. Now those homes on single lots, in that subdivision, sell for over $250,000 and closer to $300,000. I am thankful to have a roof over my head. I don't know how the homeless survive. I have rattled on and on, if you have read this far!! Long winded me! Your garden is looking great. Nothing better than a nice ripe tomato from the garden. You did tie the perfect bows!!
