Nice tutorial. I thought I knew everything about curves...
ОтветитьSUPER clear, very well described, totally useful. A professional job of explaining and editing his video. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is the clearer, better explained, amazing video on curves on the whole internet. Really. Amazing job, suscribed! Do you have a video on curves and color grading? Thank you!
ОтветитьEndlich mal ein Praxisbeispiel. Fantastisch! Weiter so 👍
ОтветитьI have went thru all your capture one videos. In my opinion your education fills the simple but essential gap that capture one tutors fail. Thank-you for this. Keep them coming.. All the best!!
ОтветитьThis is one of the best tutorials I have found. Thank you!
ОтветитьSuch a good tutorial! Definitely make more videos on curves!
ОтветитьGreat easy to understand video! Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you! The editing in the video was amazing. really added to the explanation
ОтветитьBrilliant video. I've struggled with curves, S.curve at best. Feel much more confident to explore and understand what they can do. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is a beautiful tutorial Andrea, thank you! I'm just curious: how come you haven't used Levels to set the B&W points? That would've spaced out the curve tool and give you more space to use it both visually and practically.
ОтветитьHow wonderdul video! let me know curve more details.
ОтветитьAmazing video - thanks, this explains a lot...
ОтветитьBrilliant video! Thanks so much. The waterfall edit is wonderful. Very helpful!
ОтветитьThat is brilliant Andrea. Thanks so much for this valuable information.
ОтветитьHi Andrea, thanks for another very clear and instructional video. I am wondering why in those examples you worked almost exclusively with RGB curve instead of Luma curve, given how much RGB curve changes the color? Isn't Luma curve the silver bullet? If you posted more vids about this topic I will gladly watch it (I hope to find it). Thanks for the great work, I like how illustrative your examples are, really easy to follow along with coloring important parts of the screen (histogram). Great stuff!
ОтветитьA brilliant video, so helpful and on the point, so pleasent to listen you - great work!
ОтветитьGenius! I've never really understood curves before and shied away. This is such an amazing explanation - it makes so much sense. Thank you!!
ОтветитьThank you, this video was very helpful, now i can make my photos look terrible with even more precision!
Ответитьyour are my savior, can't thank you enough!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial. I’ve always stayed away from the curves and I’ve been editing photos for over 10 years. I think I will start using it more. Thanks
ОтветитьExcellent video with good examples 👍
ОтветитьBest Curves explanation ever, thank you.
ОтветитьAfter years of using curves I still learned something new! Placing points very close to each other seems amazing, thank you.
ОтветитьAndrea, otro video de las curvas por favor, gracias campeón !!!!!
ОтветитьThis is one of the most detailed and informative videos I've ever watched for curves features for C1. I really appreciate the nuances of utilizing of all the information you included.
ОтветитьIt's a great tutorial. I am sad that Capture One isn't really free, I currently have the c1 fuji express 23 version and this is crazy limited. I think they removed a lot of features and migrated them to the pro version. This is really sad for me, because I am a student who is looking for a free software.
Ответитьprobably THE best tutorial on how to leverage the powrr of C1 software! thank you, and your other videos are great too!
ОтветитьThank you Andrea. The best demonstration of curves I have seen in my 30+ years of using digital imaging. I look forward to other elements that you will surely shred some new light on. 👏
ОтветитьAmazing. Been looking for such clear explanation on curves. Thanks.
ОтветитьAmazing - just switching over from Lightroom.
Ответитьoutstanding teaching quality. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьLove this tutorial! Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you very much for your videos with a lot of pedagogy. I like
Have you ever made a tutorial how to transform a color photo into black and white with deep blacks and beautiful contrasts.
Greetings from the Basque country - France
Great tutorial. Thanks! I really liked the "Curve Your Enthusiasm" joke. Pun intended. :-)
ОтветитьThank you for all the help!
ОтветитьThis is just awesome. I’ve been looking at those curves in Lightroom and adjusting based on what looks good to the eye and by trial and error. Now it all makes sense. Amazing explanation.
Ответитьa very well explained video. thanks for all the work you put in
Ответитьvery good Thanks :)
ОтветитьThis was INCREDIBLY valuable for me. I've been "afraid" of going beyond super basic editing for a long time, but I see now that my photography cannot progress without learning a lesson like this. Thank you so much! I'm going to start experimenting with some photos on CO right now! By the way, do you usually do major adjustments with the contrast/highlight etc sliders FIRST and THEN to fine adjustments in curves? Or do you just go right into curves?
ОтветитьSarebbe sprecato in italiano, video spiegato dadddio
ОтветитьGrandeee❤️
Ответитьgreat video ! Thank you for introducing to the curve ! That was very helpful !
ОтветитьThat was so good, man. You’re a really great teacher. Thank you for the lesson. I learned a lot!
ОтветитьAnother fantastic video. Capture One may not be as popular as lightroom, but I love it a lot more and appreciate your excellent in depth tutorials.
ОтветитьWhat an excellent video. I like your honesty in your explanation. It’s really wholesome to see a photographer who wants to share his knowledge and experience. Thank you.
ОтветитьIt's so rare to see people saying -- correctly!! -- that where the curve is steeper, the local contrast is greater. If you steepen the curve where it crosses a peak, you can make more dfference to the image than if you steepen it where it is above a low flat "valley" in the histogram. Looking at the curve as a series of angles of slope (steeper, flatter, steeper) you can target local adjustments --- . Just remember the curve has to have an overall upwards sloper. So let its angle lessen in portions that correspond to tonal levels which are not prevalent in your image, and you get more room to steepen it in parts which represent tones which there are a lot of , and steepen it in those parts, to increase contrast in tonal regions where it's most useful. (And, never give the curve a downward slope!)
ОтветитьWow!! Finally someone, who's making an amazing job with photos in capture one and is able to explain understandably every step he's doing! Liked & Subscribed!! Thank you!! :)
