Alexander Shevelev was born in Rybinsk, Jaroslav, Russia. He studied Painting, Sculpture and Architecture at the "Sherehobich School" Leningrad.
He graduated in Architecture at the "I. Repin🎨 University". He is a member of the Group of Professionals of the European Union of Russian Artists. He is also a member of the Russian Federation.

Shevelev is also an active member of "Yaroslavl Union Painting of Russia" since 1996.
He participates in regional and international exhibitions.
His works are exhibited in the "Rysinski Art Museum", and has participated in the magazine "The Russian Gallery of the XIX century".
His paintings are exhibited in Germany, Finland, Sweden, Holland, England, Macedonia and the United States.
