Now I would like to see compared aeration vs water spraying over the roots. Would the result be same?

plants do have a circadian rhythm, and if you change the light hours they will take some days to adjust, so they suffer jet lag xD

How do you know you're actually aerating your water without knowing your water temp it only works if your water is at the correct water temperature otherwise the air pump does not work properly or as intended

in kratky nutrients fallout to the bottom

I still think that perhaps your nutrients, temp, etc were just more optimal for the aerated plants. If you experiment, and find the best method for non-aeration growing, and then try growing plants with aeration using optimal condition for non-aeration, the aerated plants may do worse. Simply having all the conditions on each side doesn't make it fair, if those conditions are just more favorable for one method. Only by optimizing conditions for both methods, and THEN doing a side by side would prove one method is better or worse. For example, you mention early on that there is a nitrogen deficiency, which could be addressed. And without a lot of testing, maybe the lack of aeration means more or less light is needed. And from a commercial viewpoint, if you can use less light due to slower growth, and zero electricity for aeration, perhaps overall the non-aeration method could be much more profitable. Simply elimination of variables does not mean it is a fair test.

Those Thai hybrid are ok, not really that hot 😁 but I guess living in Thailand and eating 90% Thai food and never asking to put less chili's in my food has toughened me a little bit 🥳😋😅

My grow tent has mostly aerated DWC
but i do have a few kratky as well, and the aeration plants
for years btw... have always done better
the number of people on here saying otherwise are disingenuous or liars.

I love the kratky system and I have noticed a little difference so far in my squash last year I did a dwc tomato and it got huge this is my first kratky attempt so I’m glad to see some content

in the non aeration one do you think you could have added a pump with one drip line to feed water from the top? Do you think that would help the non aeration one grow good yield vs no drip line to feed the plant?

I do wonder if there be any issue in using stainless steel for the baskets at all as I'm really not a fan of the sheer amount of plastic that these systems use?

The Kratky net pot is not touching the water like other videos that do this test. That would avoid some of the air-pruning

I think the plants "dance" because they are using their leaves to search for light. Once they find it, they stop dancing because they know exactly where the light is.
