the problem with all this is that (putin's and dugin's) russia is defining itself from "outside", so to speak. their perception about their status in the world is based on how other nations see them (ie if they can assert their military prowess around the world, ie via "disinformation, destabilization and annexation" then nations will fear them), and not how they see themselves (i've often felt that russia has an inferiority complex); instead, if they could cultivate this "russian greatness" from within, culturally, economically, diplomatically, they'd have more influence and status in the world and might eventually achieve the russia they (putin and dugin, and other Russophiles) desire, although this would take generations. with putin, he's trying to force the situation, and it's simply not in his nature to cultivate anything. putin is the WRONG leader for this. they need another gorbachev.

Since the Western prepaid propaganda claims that Russia invaded Ukraine, it was never quite explained why several million refugees went to Russia ( more refugees went to Russia than to Poland, Germany, or any other Western country, including the Baltic states). Saying that the United States of America dropped nuclear bombs on Japan does not explain the whole story , the same way me giving someone money does not describe whether I gave someone a loan, or paid the debt.If you do not know that Ukraine has been shelling the Donbas region ( where Russians live, and have lived for centuries, when America was just a forest) since the 2014 orange revolution ( coup), then you do not have the whole picture.

Putin has never talked to Alexander Dugin. Dugin is a fringe political party in Russia that is less than 2% of all the political parties in Russia. He has no influence. Russia had sweet FA to do with Brexit; the people of Britain's motivation was, primarily, they no longer wanted to be dictated to by an unelected body and they wanted immigration controlled. Dugin was clearly wrong about Brexit; it was the UK that lept to Ukraine's defence whilst the EU dithered and member states could do nothing. Without Brexit Britain the invasion of Ukraine could have gone a multitude of different ways!
