I recently, finally tried the Ghanaian version of jollof with lamb, and OMG it was a beautiful symphony of flavors. I can't get enough now. It seems like everyone in the video had a similar experience.

Maybe you should have asked an indigenous person to show them how it’s eaten. It’s quite unsettling watching people weirdly eat our food.

Seriously guys. I would love to see you do a video featuring all the different jollof recipes done in different parts of Africa. Coz they do differ. I know the Ghanaian and Nigerian ones are very different and that's not coz of Ted Lasso I'm saying that! They really are!

This was the first time I've watched white people hate African food and say treacherous things about it. At least let African people make the food, or get less prejudiced people. We say nothing about your fish and chips or your plain potatoes.

I wouldn't eat any of these foods as an African. The food looks horrible and not enticing . Who in their right mind serves ogbono to a first timer. Many Africans won't even eat the ogbono or anything slimy like that

It's crazy that western society has deemed knowing where your food comes from by seeing it in it's base form completely taboo..
We do love avoiding accountability for all the cool stuff we have though!

The deep fried plantains i had were Puerto Rican and my friend said they were way overcooked. And they were amazing. The restaurant is the size of a room and people are lined up down every street and the line of people goes around the building several times and down the street

Why didn't you try Fufu from Ghana 🇬🇭 too, since it's originates from there. It's all Nigerian food, so the theme is wrong.there's 54 countries in Africa not one.
