Of all Heep albums I like Salisbury most. They were still fresh, trying new things. After loving the LP for over 40 years now, I recently found out that only one track of that six has a real chorus. (Okay, two have 'Aaahs' as a chorus but no words.)

I'm now 50. Got into them arounfd 16. Definitely up there with all other 70s hard rock bands. The guitar, drums, keyboards, and vocals. Lyrics as well. Byron had such a range. I like the early albums, very emotional songs.

I have a powerful connection to these old songs,esp this one. Never fades away, real, almost tangible , can feel so much. It’s what real authentic music is. Anything else to me is just noise,empty.
