I'm curious, in regards to the last raft, how would you fit the engine, wheel, antennas, and radar?
ОтветитьThe one hour raft took me like 3. I had 2 smelter after like 5 minutes and metal tools in 10. Even had a 4 large islands to go strip for wood and ore.
Still, gorgeous raft. Sad im 20-30 decos in and no bed but thats RNGesus for ya. Planning to sit on this raft while i stockpile the wood needed to make the base of the fire nation boat lol.
damn and here i thought my "realistic" raft was decent... it usually is a six-eight wide by ten-twelve long, sail and streamer up front at the very front end, half layer above the back half of the raft with a tent design, bed under a three wide section cordoned off to make a small tent... though It does get tedious to make with Brucy coming after various raft sections until its armored...
Ответить8 stacks of wood after 15 minutes? i do well to get 3 🥲
ОтветитьThanks! Just what I needed. Been looking around for some downloaded design blueprints, and totally not finding any I like, so I can at least learn from you! Any suggestions you have would be appreciated as well! Be safe, be kind and take care🙂
Ответитьdesigns are nice butyou kinda forgot about any way to move the raft in a direction....
ОтветитьMy rafts always end up looking like "organized chaos," and never a water craft, or floating home. This is becoming a pattern in any game that requires I design a living space. I think I need to spend time in creative mode to get anywhere as good as you.
ОтветитьPicked up Raft myself with the most recent Steam sale and I used the 60 minute build to get started and after some planning in Creative, I was able to expand that build to the perfect raft design that I want-couple of engines, some farm plots, a small animal pen, a storage room, everything you really need and it's awesome. These are really helpful for newer players ^.^
Ответитьno sail?
Ответить<3
ОтветитьToday I learned that I've been playing Raft wrong haha.
ОтветитьYou're much better at this game if that's what you can get in 15/30/60 minutes. My first 30 minutes are struggling to get food and water, often I have less than I started with. I'll have a section of my raft missing due to the shark, my hook will be broken, and I'll be beached on some useless little island without a paddle.
Ответитьyoure voice is pleasent sorry if that sounds creepy 😅
ОтветитьI unfortunately was disappointed since I prefer functionality and efficiency over decoration.
ОтветитьIm going to try this!
Ответить16 hours for an 8 minute video. Least I can do is subscribe. Thanks for the content and effort.
ОтветитьWow, this is absolute pro level. I learned a LOT. I didn't think about stacking bed on chests and didn't even know you could put garden plots on walls or that they would grow inside? My raft is such a disaster compared to this lol
Ответитьim far from having the amount of rescources u suggested at the given times.
ОтветитьI used and then modified that last design. Thank you so much for sharing! I love my raft! it isn't the most beautiful, but I have started decorating to make more lively. However, it is also very efficient. I love it and that is all that matters. I just came back to say thanks for all the ideas!
ОтветитьThank you! I usually just build a giant square and put everything in the intersections so Bruce can't destroy my stuff when I'm not looking and I end up with the ugliest, un-walkable looking raft until I get "enough" materials to make it look better, but your designs are not only easy to build at the start, but very well organized and pretty! And also probably cheapert than the monstrosity I usually build lmao You have inspired me, I'm gonna build a better early game raft next time I start a new game :)
ОтветитьThese are great! Do you have any suggestions on how to add the antennas w/o changing the design too much?
Ответитьawesome video i built 1st design in a normal play threw i can't say i did 15 mins but i did finish it i'd like to try see if i can convert it into each design to finished one in a actual game play but i feel already have most storages full might be challange to change build to 2nd one lol
ОтветитьAmazing!
ОтветитьI appreciate you letting us know, how long the video took to produce.
Thank you for the informative tutorial.
I'm curious to know how you include the antenna s and radar into the build without losing the charm of the raft.
ОтветитьWow, today I learned that you can put things on walls and how to maximize use of little space. Thank you for your amazing videos. Also you have such a pleasant voice to listen to. Thanks.
Ответитьi just learned sooo much
Ответитьwhile i love these designs it sucks that none of them have sail placements
Ответитьno anchor and sail?
ОтветитьYou should grab the blueprint mod , save the empty structures and upload to the share site. They are nice designs :)
ОтветитьReally well thought out content. You are a master of your (c)Raft
ОтветитьTried many times. I just end up with 1 minimal base with tons of nets and chests that looks horrible.
ОтветитьYou forgot the sales/// and by the third boat you should have an anchor... and now with the new update likely a recycler.
ОтветитьHow about navigation?
ОтветитьLove this. Would love a continuation of this. I’d love to see this go to an end game solo raft/ship build.
ОтветитьI am 100% going to use that 3rd starter one, it's so pretty
Ответитьthis is kind of wrong
ОтветитьThese are all done under a hour. I'm 2 days in, didn't make it the radio tower till day 2 IRL, just finished the Cruise ship and even though I have a lot more resources than youmentioned. My raft resembles more 10x10-ish floating pontoon hoarder collection with way more resources then necessary except wood with I'm always practically out of. Nice videos though
ОтветитьJust found your channel. These are some great designs! You really utilize and maximize the small amount of space with everything you need until you can expand. I normally build a ship more for function but I'm starting to try my hand at making them both functional and homey. Thanks for the tips! I look forward to more videos.
Ответитьwhile I agree with the designs, I kinda like the idea of building a boat-like ship eventually to have in the game itself 9don't ask, I just like the idea), like, you start out with a raft, but then you get new design's and ship blueprint's overtime, and the benefit to it is the fact the shark can't attack it, but then a new enemy comes along to make it hard, like a giant squid
Ответитьlove these design videos so thank you. for your next vid, hoping to see how you incorporated the engine, bio fuel, hives, water purifier, animals etc. those things are so ugly but necessary. without them, we're just floating around using mods for everything so just randomly floating...
ОтветитьHi is there a reason you place a floor under the roof on first raft? Wouldn't it be better to make room in there to put some storage by leaving the center open? I just got back in the game, haven't played it in a long time and no idea what the meta of building is :p edit: just saw you did that trick for the advanced raft :3
Ответитьgonna need these tomorrow
ОтветитьThis is AMAZING!!!!
love them all! 💙
You have a phenomenal eye for design. I'm bad at planning a build from the beginning and usually just make something big and refine it section-by-section until I like the result lol. (Edit: You can hang the grill??!! Lol, thanks for bring that to my attention.)
ОтветитьGod, you're videos are always so good, I aspire to be this good at making my own rafts someday
Ответитьits sooo cool... congrats for 900 subs (im subbed up good luck in the future ;) )
ОтветитьOkay, but what about an end game raft? Or a multi person raft?
ОтветитьWoah woah woah, today I learned that you can hang your grill on a wall. That is huge for space savers like me who like to have 2 grills and 2 purifiers early game. What other practical amenities can go on the walls? Small crops and storage chests we're aware of, as well as some of the decorations which create useful platforms. But knowing more of these possiblilities could go a long way towards better overall design and less congested rafts
