Anri is just so pure TwT she does not deserve to be in such a cruel world
ОтветитьIt's so satisfying seeing Yoel die and killing yuria after killing the pilgrim on the church. Bastards all of them
ОтветитьI just slayed the last boss a few days ago, and manage to complete Anri and Horace questline... This installment really is end of the world storyline with all these tragic stories of new characters and even the old ones... Aldritch the second lord I slayed, my journey to slay him is a very somber one. At first I was excited to once more explore Anor Londo hoping to find it eventually and I actually didn't realize it became part Irithyll until the I found the Darkmoon Temple and found it empty, as a former dark moon(and sun bro) my heart fell when I found the firekeeper's corpse in the hall(most likely fought to death to defend Gwyndolin... Going topside and finding the Giant Blacksmith's corpse and the current state of the palace filled me with rage and I didn't move on until I slayed the boss...
ОтветитьAnri and Horace are married right cuz horace is called the husband
ОтветитьI know this is really old but I've been rewatching lore videos and I was thinking... I didn't think unkindled could go hollow because they don't have humanity.. the first flame burnt you and your humanity to ashes.. so how could you go hollow? I know you can use a dark sigil to go hollow but an unkindled can't go hollow just from dying right?
ОтветитьThanks Vaati, I have depression now
ОтветитьWHY WOULD YOU KILL HORACE?!
ОтветитьMuito bom
ОтветитьOops, I killed them... bleh 😋
ОтветитьI was going to complete the anri quest line, but I ended up messing up because I went through Farron Keep and then the catacombs of Carthus. You can imagine my confusion when she wasn't in Irithyll, lol
Strangely enough, after killing hollowed Horace sometime later in smoldering lake and spoke to Anri (Forgot what I told her), I couldn't find her anywhere after that
The spirit if the evil eye attacking Astora is interesting. Given it was called a "beast" in ds1, that means that the monster, when slain, just came back as a spirit several cycles later. Dang. History repeats itself.
ОтветитьShe's gonna hollow anyways might as well quicken the process for her
ОтветитьAssassinating Horace right in front of Anri at the start of this video…damn.
ОтветитьTY for the vid, finished DS3 for first time recently and was debating NG+. This inspired me to make a run using summons.
ОтветитьI should have killed that one Pilgrim hiding in the church when I had a chance.
ОтветитьIm sorry guys. I think im gonna go hollow soon.
ОтветитьHey, I just noticed the little demon-y voice behind Hawkwood's when he said, "bloated pig"
ОтветитьFor me she was stabbed in the face at anor londo idk why 💀
ОтветитьI dont remember anri doing that when killing horrace, damn that almost made me cry.
ОтветитьDam.. no..
ОтветитьWhat happens to Anri after she helps you kill Aldrich?
ОтветитьFrom all my DS 3 runs I helped Anri to fulfill their duty once. And I wasn't really happy with the result.
So it seems, the true Lord must make some horrible deeds for them to become good ones later.
To free Anri from chains of her past and avenge her fallen comrades, without her even knowing.
P.S.: I never thought about it that way but... When I was a kid I was often imagining myself as a Lord of a world that thrive and revel in Darkness (not the evil type, more like in between) . But when doing so I was always thinking "Do I have the things to be a Lord?" Well, as the time passed, at least now I got some guts to make bolder decisions. Maybe one day I even will be able to make such decisions not only in games.
Nothing makes me sadder than the story of Anri and Horace....
ОтветитьAh fuck that first scene had me in tears
ОтветитьInteresting how the ringing of the bell takes the unkindled back to life in dark souls 3 and ringing the bell in elden ring allows us to summon ashes.
ОтветитьSo which Lord are we the players tied to?
ОтветитьDang, I feel bad forgetting to do Anri’s quest before I killed pontiff, now I feel bad for marrying her and her not killing Aldrich. I mean I killed that sluggish fucker though, so maybe I avenged them, but it still doesn’t feel right though.
Ответитьthe voice is amazing
ОтветитьSo fucking sad 😭
ОтветитьIf the unkindled are each connected to a lord, are we connected to Ludlith or Prince Lothric?
And who is the 5th unkindled? Horace?
I feel like we are connected to Lud the exiled because he doesn't care what happens either way, and we have multiple choices for endings.
But this wouldn't really fit in with the relationship between Anri to Aldrich or Hawkwood to the Abyss Watchers.
waaaaaait a minute...
Anri defeated the Evil Eye that was terrorizing Astora...
I remember some item descriptions in DS1 mentioning this Evil Eye, and a Knight of Astora defeating it and sealing it in a ring. So did the Evil Eye come back? Or is this one of those timey-wimey situations where Anri WAS the knight that defeated the Evil Eye before the events of DS1 took place...
Im about to go to highschool in tears 🥹
ОтветитьI like (dislike) to imagine that Horace actually went selectively mute from the trauma of almost being devoured by Aldrich
ОтветитьSad for Anri....trying hard to be a strong warrior but loneliness can drive anyone mad
Ответить"Ooooh I'm gettin a wife? Yahoo!"
[Meets her in Darkmoon tomb]
".... Aw mother fuck."
fk this game yes its good but everything in it is sad
ОтветитьI feel bad about killing them now is there a way to revive them?
ОтветитьI just got into dark souls what happened to Horace what is a hollow can someone answer this please
ОтветитьAll of the NPC plots in Dark souls end in tragedy, but Anri's always cut me the hardest.
Maybe it's the way the voice actress plays her role but I REALLY sympathized with the character, and hoped this one time that a single story would have a happy ending in the bleak world of Dark Souls.
Alas, wrong people at the wrong place in the wrong game to hope for such things.
Fun fact: Hollowed Anri uses a broken sword to fight you. She knew what was about to happen and purposely damaged her weapon so she would be less dangerous to whoever should find her. Just an all around good person until the end :')
Prepare to cry indeed 😔
ОтветитьGuts' Theme starts playing
ОтветитьImmediately regret doing the ursurper end after this. Sorry Anri
ОтветитьInevitable loneliness...
ОтветитьPrepare to cry
ОтветитьI love Anri’s voice dunno why. So was annoyed when I made a female character and they had a male voice.
ОтветитьBruh, I screwed up her quest line and now she's got a sword in her face but I couldn't save her
ОтветитьIm not crying . . . You are!
ОтветитьRewatching this and completely forgot about the brutal assault in the beginning had me cracking up. "Such a kind hearted--BY THE FLAME"
Ответить
