Such an amazing video! Bravo, sir.
ОтветитьThank you! I have finally found a video for solar that doesn't check the box that's sketchy and not helpful.
ОтветитьI did the exact same thing, but in addition I had to de-rate my main breaker coming into my AC panel from 200A to 175A due to the size of my system. My research also suggested that I install my solar breaker at opposite end of my main breaker. My system is just under 10kw and produces enough power for my 2600 sf home such that I had 3,000 kwh excess production at the end of the year, I used Enphase system with candian solar 400w panels. I’m happy!
ОтветитьYou never shared the online program you used for the electrical permit documents
ОтветитьWhat I'm trying to figure out is how you are getting credited for the extra energy
ОтветитьHow big KW you get from this solar on your roof?
ОтветитьWhat company did you use to get the structural engineering diagram?
ОтветитьDoes you home owners insurance allow that much power being created. Zone laws too.
ОтветитьShould install some batteries and sell the power back at peak times.
ОтветитьHouse with infinity energy
ОтветитьHi, what is the name of the plan drawing software?
ОтветитьVery inspirational video! I'm curious if you happened to measure the areas inside and outside your home with an EMF field meter before you installed the panels and after you activated them, for comparison. I've read that levels can jump considerably when solar panels are added to the equation.
ОтветитьI'd not want grid tied solar. To me part of the benefit of solar would be 100% reliable power. Even after a storm I'd have power. But with grid tied solar your power must go down when your connection loses power. I'd rather build in a bit more capacity and simply ditch the grid altogether. But where I live blackouts are common and you can expect to lose power for a day or two every 2-3 years. With 1-2 hour long blackout happening near yearly. About 4 years ago we lost power for nearly a week after a particularly powerful storm cut power to nearly the entire city (of nearly 1 million people). With grid tied solar I too would have been without power even though all my generation would be local. It simply does not make sense unless you can't generate enough to meet your needs.
ОтветитьGood work but barely worth it for me... Maintenance issue - -- -$$$ has to be factored in...
Ответитьwith how bad it is in california right now, at $0.44/kWh, we had a $1000 bill for 1 month at one time. We figured, a 10-14 month payback if we go with a grid-tie system with no batteries
Ответитьjust do it , dont tell the goverment lol
ОтветитьIts a😮 very nice technology ❤
ОтветитьIyits
ОтветитьNo bills lol. God gave him solar panels for free, maintainence also free, lol
ОтветитьI can just imagine the energy savings from the cooling factor. The rays doesn't hit the house directly, therefore having a cooler house in the summer and not having to run the ac as often. That sounds awesome.
Ответитьthanks for sharing your experience
ОтветитьHow much it cost you ?? How much electricity you produce?? 3 kilowatt solar cost me 3.5 lakh bdt
ОтветитьNeeds to be less red tape
ОтветитьGreat video. Clear, friendly and lots of detail. Thanks. I had someone do my solar install 4 years ago, mostly due to falling off the roof risk, but I should have done what you did and speed up my ROI by 3-4 years.
ОтветитьRepent to Jesus Christ!
Are you a sinner?
Mark 2:17
King James Version
17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
the most expensive item is the battery.
most battery lifetime is less than 5 years.
for a 25 years system, the battery gonna cost you more than you calculate
hero
ОтветитьThe panels are wayyy to close to your gutters. When the water hits your panels and flows down , its going to miss the gutters and just pour right off your roof.
ОтветитьUsing the term "power plant" pretty loosely
ОтветитьWe put solar on our house. Best investment ever. We paid to have it done with a government rebate, it cost $5,900 AUD or roughly $2,800 USD to have 10 panels installed. Our solar rebate is 19c per/kwh generated back into the grid. It saves us about $800 every 3 months. Currently our power bill is $982 in credit, meaning even when our wettest period of the year comes (almost daily torrential rain for 5 months straight) we still don’t need to pay anything towards our bill.
ОтветитьSo how much did all this cost?
ОтветитьYou forgot the other side of the roof 😜
ОтветитьMy ex mother in law always had lots of money. She had a tax business but it was only open for half of the year. I always wondered how she paid her bills for the remainder of the year. One day she told me she had not paid her mortgage in 10 years and has never received an eviction notice. The freemasons allowed her to stay in a rent free house as payment for prostituting her young daughters.
Ответитьbills collector going to be crazy mad after seeing this
ОтветитьINCREDIBLE!! Simply INCREDIBLE!!!
ОтветитьHow do I solar my home
ОтветитьThank you for this!
Ответитьno bills except the massive bill for solar panels and ancillary parts
ОтветитьStupid. He will never tell you after 6 years. All the panel and batteries need to replace to new. The costs all of these are much high the bills from electricity power bill.
ОтветитьInstead of just purely Solar Photovoltaic panel, try adding thermal collector underneath the panels
ОтветитьFabulous....Now I'd love to see you build a plastic to Diesel plant for personal use.
ОтветитьAwesome easy detailed video. Thank you for the guide.. I am years away from owning a home but would love solar
ОтветитьYou can install induction for cooking to cook for free
ОтветитьAnd now how is Santa 🎅🏽 going to get you your gifts? 😢
ОтветитьAnd when will you financially breakeven from your large solar investment?
ОтветитьThe hell with this. This approach will make China richer. No way. No made in china
ОтветитьIn Italy this is not allowed, you have to pay in any case an you extra energy will be moved to the public electric web for free.
