Using Phones with No-SIM Cards and Other Privacy Experiments

I ran a similar experiment except I rooted a Samsung galaxy S20 sideloded my apps... I had Tor as VPN and Mozilla Firefox and Duck Duck go as browsers. Purchased a portable wifi which was connected and I should say the portable wifi did have a sim. I downloaded SIGNAL and TELEGRAM which have VOIP & VID CALLING functions. I used the phone with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

You could just buy a Netgear for your car and have a internet hotspot everywhere you went.

Can you not use a mobile phone that’s never used with a SIM card, with higher security settings in IOS (go find it) and VPN?
I generally download everything at home and use downloaded content.
When at work I would connect with WiFi for FaceTime or WhatsApp?
Can it be done?

how do you know a vpn will protect your privacy. Could very well be a back door they use against you in future. We don't know and you should never do anything illegal anyways. They like to trap you

I just use a regular old fashioned land line, and an old fashioned corded phone. I don't need all the rest of this nonsense.

The biggest problem I've had with these approaches is with 2FA. Most services require SMS for authentication, and I've had real problems getting these through voip.

This is what I want. T mobile home Internet has limitations if your not in their apointed area you cannot transfer to that location I would have to cancel my account and turn in the gateway. I rather have four G than 5 G anyways. I havent used my magic jack in years so my account is probably closed I would have to log in and pay a new subscription it may be easier to just buy another magic jack. I never had any issues with magic jack. Im also interested in your brax VPN router. I may buy it in the near future. 73

I have a pc, which is attached to a 32 in tv, I utilize for surfing the web and video gaming. I have a 10 in. tablet, I utilize for surfing the web, maining watching You Tube video's. I have a cell phon referred to as a smart phone when the old dummer cell phone's are no longer available which I can utilze to surf the web, play video game's and both make and receive phone call's. My pc doesn't allow me to make phone call's, my tablet doesn't allow me to make phone call's, only the supposedly smart phone, which I only utilize when it considerably smaller and the other two don't allow it, is to make and receive phone call's.

That said, removing the "SIM" card, keep's me from makeing or receiveing phone call's. It become's just a considerably smaller tablet.

Even with multiple powered devices, this can easily be managed with a case, a portable battery and a routine.

What about my iphone13 which functions without SIM card? Still invading, still tracking?

Well T mobile and their entities are in business with Gov. so since they know your identity so does Gov.

I rooted my android and I went into the file that you don't need a sim to call 911 and I changed it from 911 to my number and I can call my number without a sim, been working for years free number and every cell has it

What about data only sims instead of a Normal sim?

Use a faraday, military grade bag, stops all RF waves from cell towers instead of removing the sim

So here's the thing. Yes you can use a no sim cell phone to make calls, however you need to use a voip app and wifi to make calls or receive. Without wifi you are dead in the water. Sure you could pull into a Walmart and use free wifi but the problem with that is you have to agree to their terms and allow access to stuff on your phones they shouldn't have. People wonder why they are getting hacked, getting their banks emptied or getting CC fraud that would be one of the reasons. Now you can use a no sim phone to make emergency calls via 911 or other emergency services which is federal law. There are no true ways to get free cell services without a sim unless you get a hacked sim that can bypass cell tower handshakes or bands. You can get on a $20.00 a month cell plan so why seek wifi especially if you are no where near it? If you cannot afford $20.00 a month cell service then I ask, how can you afford internet 🤔 ? My ISP provides cell service basically at lower rates then other services like AT&T, Tmobile or other trademark companies. True it is optional but it is not to unaffordable. I have no issues with people using voip services if they use it legally, however criminals such as those in India, China and other countries are using wifi voip services to harrass and scam people. Luckily hackers are striking back and shutting them down. Not that I don't appreciate the useful info but in reality free is just a wishful belief by people. In truth someone has to pay for it whether you do or not.

This has been an area of privacy how to use internet apps for communication without requiring to use simcard with chip on it like creditcards, debitcards, simcards all can be trackable. Voip isbthe futenof untraceable and safer communication

I'm tired of being forced to buy a device to download an app that only works on the latest google/app version. It's infuriating that perfectly good t4ch is render a camera brick by no longer supported "old apps" and than one way or another it takes for ever to clean up or trust the device really is wiped to repurpose it
