There is a cultural difference. It is not a believable film if you have a black family move into a haunted house, that movie is automatically a comedy. This is white people stuff. You guys know this shit.
ОтветитьAll they do is complain. Watch a street magician perform to a black crowd. Is that racist? Get real, burdens.
ОтветитьThen everything changed when the blackening released.
ОтветитьTony Todd an icon of horror movies of the 90s <3 Jordan Peele is doing well with his films.
ОтветитьMy first horror hero was Ben, from Night of the Living Dead. I was just a kid, caught the movie late on TV and was terrified!!
ОтветитьbOring and all black people acting...should mix...

ОтветитьOmg stop whining
ОтветитьAnd they still be the first to die 😒
Ответить819 dislikes from Alabama I see...
ОтветитьThis documentary is wrong on so many levels about the horror genre, they should know not all black people play minor parts or die in horror films for example Candyman was the main antagonist for his movie so you cant say he didn't have an important role, not to mention the horror films that black people survived through such as:
The Thing - Child's lives
Friday the 13th part 6 - Reggie the reckless
lives Dawn of the dead - Peter lives Fright Night (1985) - The lieutenant
Halloween H2O - LL Cool J lives Halloween Resurrection - Busta rhymes lives
Leprechaun in the hood - Postmaster P lives (under leprechauns spell)
Thirteen Ghost - The Nanny lives Tales from the darkside movie (1990) - Carola lives and was the gargoyle
Several tales from the Crypt episodes where we survive
Texas chainsaw massacre 3 - benny lives
Predator 2 - leutinant Mike harrigan etc.
🤔 very bad I in past my imagination horror when I was angry, I spoke verbally in wrath but no action all alone through it, I Rebecca schzo paranoid schzo lord Jesus Christ delivered me from sin and forgiven me I praise the Lord thank you Lord Jesus Christ 😀iam Pam 's daughter mum good.
Ответитьyou ppor old black people. Shame. The world is so mean to you isn't it??? SHAME SHAME SHAME
Ответитьoh give me a break. There were never strong women in movies. Oh, well, you know, except Princess Leah, Norma Rae, Erin Brokovich, every Pam Grier movie ever, Mildred Pierce...
There were never strong black people in horror. oh, well, except Night of the Living Dead, the Shining, Candyman, Blackula...
So tired of this lie that this generation is the first one to strive for anything. They keep rehashing battles that have already been won by pretending they've been oppressed, because they've had it too easy and their lives have no meaning.
man its been a year , when can we finally be able to buy this on dvd / blu ray shudder ??? @shudder
ОтветитьName any black horror movies that you may remember watching it.
For me - Event Horizon and Demon Knight!
Long overdue.......
ОтветитьLOVED the doc! Think I heard rumblings about this being made into a Shutter exclusive series. If that's the case then dammit Shutter, you're gonna get a subscription out of me! I'd love to have a deeper dive into the stories behind the films that were mentioned and others like them!
ОтветитьThis documentary was excellent! The entire history of Black horror stars, films, and creators detailed and credited.
Ответить😍😍😍😍😍
ОтветитьI didn't call Candyman so why am I seeing Candyman?

You do realize not every black person in horror doesn’t be the first to die I mean there’s many that main characters so stupid but I get it but let’s ignore the facts ok...
ОтветитьDamn I love Jordan Peele, he is so incredibly talented
ОтветитьBlack this! Black that! I’m so sick of hearing it !
Ответитьi wanna watch it sooo bad but i don’t have shudder 🙄
ОтветитьThe movie MA
ОтветитьThis is a great documentary! I love horror & I want more black horror movies! This is also depressing.
ОтветитьThe comments under this video are tragic: "Black people actually have it better in America currently than white people do." hahahaha!!! Oh its painful XD
ОтветитьWow no mention of "Night of the demons"
ОтветитьBusta Rhymes didn’t die in Halloween
ОтветитьThis documentary is the truth!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI'm confused...why are Ken Foree, Tony Todd and Keith David in this when they represent the opposite of what this video is promoting.
They were EXTREMELY successful in their movie careers...
Oh..
its "that kind" of documentary
ha no thanks
Dave chapelle would call you brittle. Is this "black fragility" on display?
ОтветитьI really liked this documentary. Saw it today. I like History. It is funny because I did say years ago that horror was based off of things in Africa to make it seem scary and evil. Like Voodoo, zombies, witches, etc. But one thing they should have mentioned is I think Michael Jackson Thriller and Ghost put Black Horror on the Map in the 80's and beyond
ОтветитьAnyone else get an add for this during the video and thought there was something wrong with your computer
ОтветитьHave you seen Brother from another planet😱
By the way evil is evil no matter what the race maybe punishment will always be death👹
this why i hate Shudder they suck up to black racist crying about pass get Fuck over it
