pretty sure the devs added new hotkeys for selecting your armies. all units/melee only/ranged only/ and heroes only.

Next time you play thronefall, hold down alt. it shows all buildings you can build currently

Its a mistake to build anything but ECON on the 1st turn.
You are more than capable of holding off the first wave on your own.

Dunno if it's just me, but the music during the nights is louder than you are.

I have to say I don't really like that game mode.
For me this game starts being fun after you've built up somewhat and have some tactical options each night. Also the choice of getting through early nights with as few defenses as possible to build up econ to really crush the enemy later on.
If every run is just ended after just 5 nights all of that is lost, and it just takes too long to get to the longer runs.
Also some of the upgrades you "unlocked" at the end, you could also choose during your run. Not sure if that is a bug or if I've misunderstood something about how unlocking works...

How about if the training center survives, you get 2 extra units at the start of the next round, or maybe 1 unit is stronger than the others as a veteran

Losing at the end was very much your fault for just waiting at the gate instead of killing down the swarm some to begin with
