American Highschoolers try British comfort food for the first time!

I've never seen cheese on toast with branston pickle before. Id only have it with a regular cheese sarnie.

I am a Filipino born and raised in the Ph and never been to UK. I super love Beans on Toast and Fish and Chips.

American food is full of additives.

Students are weird, American ones are the weirdest except the girls, they are alright, but not the one that doesn't like marmite. Baked beans on toast is the best thing ever. You don't put Branston on "grilled cheese" 🙄 on toast. It's either brown sauce or Worcestershire sauce. A table spoon of marmite a day, keeps the doctor away, not. No I'm actually a lover. I eat it by th teaspoon sometimes.

The toast was nearly white, noooo, it has to be really brown before it can be called toast. Its my favourite go to quick meal.

The toast could have been a bit more well done and it`s nicer if you don`t dump all the beans over all the toast because it all ends up soggy.Put the fully toasted bread on one side and the beans kind of half on half off the toast so that you have contrasting textures.

Could it be that the US kids don't like the UK food is because its not packed full of artificial sweetners and additives that are banned in the rest of the world.

If they're making American equivalents of British food it's not going to taste the same, unless they've imported the ingredients.

British bread is very different to American bread, British beans are very different to American beans... Need I go on?

Watching this just reminds me that I can't stand teenagers. I'd take a spoonful of marmite and vegemite dipped in brown sauce before I'd spend 10 minutes in a room with those kids. 🤷‍♂

I'm Irish, I live with my Mexican gf and her son. I got them to try marmite on toast, they both hated it, but Chica our chihuahua loves it. Whenever I make it, she's there looking for some.

Marmite is made from the yeast that builds up on the top of fermenting beer.

the only Americans who think British food is bad, are those that have never visited the UK.
the reason for the "British food sucks" comes from WWII. when the Americans was stationed in the UK prior to D-Day. they brought all their own food with them, meaning they had steaks and other good meats. where as Britain was on ration, so they had to eat mince or offal as a steak or joint of meat would use up the whole families meat coupons for a week. meat was so rare that they put alot of water in the sausages to bulk them out. in turn this would make the sausages burst when frying, that is why they was called "bangers".
if you visited the UK today you would see that we do some of the best food in the world. not forgetting that Gordon Ramsey is Scottish.

I dislike the presenters insulting all things British. Plus cheese on toast requires mustard.. and marmite is not a game changer. Salt and vinegar crisps show one's level. Stop behind eeejits and be real please.
