Why are they going with blood typing now 50 years ago if a foal had striped feet showed the white around the eyes and or had mottled skin on the nose and mouth and under the tail and on colts mottled sheth you new it would colour out but now with blood typing there breeding the colour out it seems to me and that's a shame because in the show ring there jut like a Quarter horse but that's how I think I like and think spots when I hear Appaloosa

I have heard the Arabian horse is an exceptional ride.

I have a Leopard Appaloosa. She's 13 years old and my baby.

the first horse I ever rode was an Appaloosa named Banjo. he had a dapple grey coat. I rode him bareback and the stable hands told me I was a natural. I learned everything I could about Appaloosas from then on and I know they said he was a dapple grey but the more I learned the more I think he had a grey Roan coat. either way he was very unusual for an Appaloosa yet he was certified to be a pure breed and I absolutely loved him.

You never get a horse who is mostly black and has white spots. Unless you play Minecraft.

I didn't know all the colors how beautiful they all are I'm a fan of all the colors u mentioned ather breed I like is paint horses too n they have beautiful colors like quarter horses too

I used to breed & train Appaloosas!

I have a Appaloosa mix Arabian. He is a bay leopard appy in the shape of an Arabian. He’s so pretty and has a great personality I love him very much.

So an Appaloosa is just a Grade horse.
In that case, I've got some lovely Alsation pups if you want one, the Bitch is a Champion of Crufts and the sire is a ratting Jack Russell, beautiful Alsation pups.
This can't be right!
The breed must be fortified with the Appaloosa gene only.
Sort it out and stop watering down the bloodline!

I have age spots

I have read appaloosas are good as a beginner horse but I have also read that appaloosas aren’t ideal for beginners. So Im confused. Is Appaloosa good as a beginner horse ?

Here’s a head-scratcher for you; the Appaloosa breed is genetically more closely related to horses from Central Asia than to Spanish breeds. This then begs the question why? If they did not obtain horses until they were introduced by the Spanish, why do the horses bred by the Nez Perce have distinct genetics?
