Before I upgrade, does anyone know if the 48mp raw takes up cloud storage and when it does, does it stop working does the quality degrade? What if your cloud storage is already full will the 48mp raw photo still work?
ОтветитьBro doesn’t have ching chong accent
ОтветитьHow do you import ProRAW photos into windows PC? Using cable?
ОтветитьExcellent video! One of the best ever, thank you! If you choose raw shooting with a 3rd. part app, let's say Reeflex ProCamera, you're still shooting in Proraw or it'll be a true raw file?
Ответитьwouldn't proraw captures super crappy pics due to the lack of stacking and computational processes? the sensor is tiny, way smaller than even m43, images must be super noisy?
Ответитьmy iphone 12 pro max shut down after turning on pro raw still hasn't turned on
ОтветитьI completely agree with your thought. Thumb up!
Ответитьsimple and straight forward. My question is, will the photos be over exposed or read incorrectly if they are taken in ProRaw and then uploaded to Final Cut Pro. In my experience, photos with HDR on, are over exposed in Final Cut and Premier pro and destroy the quality of the image and video, not sure if the same applies to ProRaw
ОтветитьThanks for this explanation 👍
ОтветитьI'm finding that the onboard Photos editor treats DNG and HEIC with the same latitude. And Lr Mobile isn't doing much better.
In order to get RAW flexibility, you have to export to desktop versions of Adobe—and only one image at a time, because bulk AirDrop converts to JPEG—and it seems you have to revert the file to original state, or the export assumes you want a JPEG with adjustments.
That's AirDrop. I don't know the rules yet for USB migration.
🤣43k photos = to watch all of these only for a minute each = long beards
ОтветитьExcellent explanation, thank you.
ОтветитьCan iphone 13 use proraw?
ОтветитьHow do you get Pro Raw images from you iPhone into Lightroom Classic?????
ОтветитьGr8 video thanks for explanation
ОтветитьThis video:
Computational photography
From a technical standpoint, is it possible to fuse LivePhoto with ProRAW?
ОтветитьWonderful, the gold standard explanation. So relieved to understand the gamut of iPhone image formats: ProRAW, HEIC, JPEG, and when each might be the best choice.
ОтветитьHow different are the results between photos captured in ProRAW vs Adobe Lightroom Camera in DNG mode? I was considering the 12 Pro mainly because of ProRAW but I think that any other camera app that can shoot DNG should be able to provide me the same results and headroom for editing, minus the computational photography that is incorporated in a ProRAW file. I could be wrong though.
Cheers.
I have been trying out ProRaw. What I have done is after I have edited the photo to my satisfaction, I export/copy as JPG and then delete the ProRaw file. That way I have the flexibility, without the storage overheads. I only use ProRaw where it is photo I will likely want to edit later
ОтветитьExcellent!
ОтветитьI haven’t messed around with ProRaw yet. This was a super helpful video. Thanks!
ОтветитьVery well explained. Well I’d go as far as to say the BEST. Thank you
ОтветитьNice video! Which free apps are good for editing Pro-Raw photos on the iPhone directly, or on a Macbook Pro?
ОтветитьTRUTH !!! Great intel for those learning. Best solution if your defaulting - push off your RAW files ( that you want for Pro work only) to a device like Gnarbox & delete them so your IP 12 Pro Max retains storage. Also get the 512 gig. It’ll fill up fast.
ОтветитьGreat video, really enjoyed watching and very well explained 😊
ОтветитьThanks for the video it really helped a lot!
Keep up the great work
Very well explained.. 👍👍👍
ОтветитьHaving shot photos in ProRAW on my iPhone 12 Pro, uploading the .DNG image to, say Photo Shop, will only degrade the image. What comes out of the iPhone 12 Pro is perfect. Any tweaks to be done should be done in the iPhone's editing software, then saved. If a .jpg is needed, due to it's lower file size can be done from the .DNG itself.
ОтветитьEaston's info and ease of explanation is off the chain.
Also you lit yourself with a garage light?
I do wish they had this with the Google Pixel
