In the series "Grimm" there was a similar monster, which imo is the worst, most horrible and revolting creature of the entire series. Mainly because it actively attacks its very own bloodrelatives; in that specific episode the female one (strangely it were only the female ones who do this, if I am correct) tried to suck the womb of her daughter-in-law who was pregnant dry causing a miscarriage, not caring that this would kill her unborn grandchild. This is the least they do. Worst part is that her "species" or some of them apparently are especially selfish.

Author lacked the cojones to have the SCP take the logical route, I guess? Again: SCPS past 1000 are junk, really. Fight me, cos you know I'm right.

Imagine the booming buissnes these creatures could create if they started giving out free, completely safe, and always successful abortions to people in poor areas who can’t easily get a hold on proper birth control. They can mask themselves as a witchdoctor and tell their patients that they must be asleep for the procedure, so they don't have to expose themselves for what they are.

And as long as the creature has morals, give the pregnant person a proper talk before the abortion so that it is absolutely sure it is the pregnant person who wish for an abortion (not an abusive partner or family) and that they are not making a rash desition out of panic (not saying you are to "talk people out" of having an abortion, as that is not for you to decide. Any unplanned pregnancy should be disgussed in depth, no matter if the parent wanna keep the fetus or not. People deserv to make an educated desition, not just one based on exoectations or emotions) it would even be a moral service to provide.

If they try to force people into abortions just because they wanna eat the fetuses...yeah, not so much. So let's hope this subspecies of human has the ability for morality and empathy.

The story is of a woman who was about to be burned at the stake who asked for help from a witch,and the witch gave her a potion that needed time to take effect. She drank it to late and it only took effect to her head to her stomach. Everything else was burned away. Now she is cursed to roam the land by day as a normal woman but by night she leaves her body and flies using her hair like wings for pregnant women or newborns to devour the blood of.
