7 Types of Fake Friends

Almost everyone shows these traits. So have no friends?

There is 8: the one that says they never talk behind your back and supports you but be mad at you for small reasons in the past

Makes me feel like a fake friend.

I dont know about my 2 friends I met this year :/ Always gossiping, not finding humor in my other sweet friend, telling me what to do. The least I can do is hope to not have any classes with them.

All my friendships and relationships were toxic for over 12 years of my life. I weeded my garden and became my own best friend and I find more healthy positive people are coming into my life. I’m cautious to not jump in with two feet but take each other step at a time until I find that special friend and romantic partner. It takes time to weed, plant and yield that harvest off healthy relationships you want. Hang in there! With the best intentions it will come to you❤

so we were playing then she bumped her head on the wall saying i scared her she knew we were playing she was the scary doll i didn’t even yell at her i was just fixing her hair then she told the whole class about what “i did” then the whole class started comforting her and then they turned on me saying rude stuff about me i excused myself from the classroom i cried in the bathroom the next day no one talked to me since my other bestie was absent i think shes just sensitive! Since she choked me once and i didn’t cry i just think people have different ways of handling pain! but what’s your opinion?

I had a fake friend just now I had good memories with them but just now when I just talk he said who asked thats when I realized they was just using me they betrayed for no reason it just feels sad to have a friend that isn't your really friend

I am currently stuck in a friend group of 5. I am also in a "trio" with two people, lets call them K and J. K and J have much in common, nice clothes, skincare, etc. And things that are interesting in our friend group of 5. Sometimes they plan mall sprees infront of me or try to make plans with the other two people in our group, O and S. Ive been shown up many times before and felt like i was never good enough. They also make me insecure and make me question my life. They've said things like
"___ like ur gigantic forehead lol"
"U need new eyebrows"
"ur ears are literally poking out, it's best to cover them."
One time I was playing dodgeball w them in 5th Grade and i stole a ball. K decided to steal not one, but about 5 of our other teams. Then J came and stole some more. It is like these times i question if I even want to stay at my school anymore, and usually these thoughtslast till lunch. I am also dealing with private problems in my family, and i told them before i may have depression,and they told me "well it's only true if ur diagnosed by a doctor, not some quiz" but then after that they say"jeez why r u always so depressed?" And infact this is the entire group. i already told O about my consideration of leaving the school, but ithink she forgot it.

This is why I'd rather be alone than use discernment because it's exhausting.

I was betrayed by a friend that I truely believed, but she tells my secret to all of the others.I can't feel that pain.😢

I have had a friend that would guilt trip me, shame me, control me and insult me but would justify it as “being a good friend”
She was very toxic and harmful, causing me to self-doubt myself, giving me anxiety and stealing my confidence.
She would talk behind my back and would act nice, give obviously backhanded compliments and then comment on my appearance.
I have tried cutting ties with her but when she does she says things like “KYS!” “ITS UR FAULT” or “Your NOTHING WITHOUT ME!”” And always blamed EVRYTHING ON ME! I cut ties with her and stopped texting and calling and talking to her.
I found a more loyal and funny real friend who cares about me!
But that girl still left a scar..

Fake friends basically just drain your energy. It’s like you hold their hand, making sure you don’t let go, while on the other hand, they hold your hand carelessly. They let go when you need them the most.

At my school, the PE teachers are the freeloaders while the popular kids are the fair weather, one way, gossipmonger, drama magnet, and negative friends.

Another thing I would look for speaking from personal experience is someone who gives obsessively and does so much for you to use it as a weapon in an argument saying “I do so much for you but your not there for me” when you are doing all you can. For me I had a friend who could do what ever she wanted bc her parents weren’t as strict so she could call or hang with me when ever I wanted but I couldn’t do the same because my mom was more strict and when we get into arguments she would say “I stop my whole world for you but when I need smt you don’t even call” when I’ve explained to her I’m not allowed to call when my moms home because she’ll tell me to hang up

Hello, i have a fake friend who would have their 4 friend group. Perfect hair and stuff, they're probably healthier without me but I didn't want to be with them but my fake friend would victimize herself when she shares my secret with 4th grade, 5th grade amd 6th grade BOYS! WHY? She said I started it but No! She said "they need to know", no they don't Adrianna. How are you even a "friend"?

I have a group of widow friends who get together one day a week for about 15 years now. When they knew I was having surgery they were no where to be found. Very disappointing. They sent me a new get well card where everyone signed it and said “miss you”. One of these women lives right across the street. Unbelievable! I’m thinking they are definitely not my friends. I don’t want to be around them anymore. What would you do?

The first one was a true story It happened in school Every time it' Snack time There was this girl that every time She sees my snacks she Always wants to eat my snacks And when she done eating my snacks , she's go away and she talk with her friends Everytime she always tell me that.I don't know how to speak khmer because cambodian person and she said only know english And she tell me to speak english And I refuse to do it. But she doesn't care And sometimes she just talked to me like she's rude. And I don't like it But she's 9 and I'm 11 Sometimes she's things I'm not better than her And when she said I only know english you always said do you speak English All the time with your parents And then she almost make me cry And Where I don't speak khmer Loud enough to hear she said What's wrong with you?You don't have to speak khmer Clear enough........now that my story ជម្រាបលា❤ទាំងអស់គ្មា❤️😊❤️😊

But this time i feel both a victim for some and the offender for others

Realising 80% of my current friends and 100% of my ex-friends are the One-Way friend. Just broke up with my now ex-best friend because I felt I cared more about her than she did about me

When I was in elementary school,4th grade or something like that I believe, I had this friend. One day, he came over to hang out at my house. We had lots of fun and played lots of games.

Next day at school… I was sitting right behind him. He didn’t know. He was talking with his other friends. As he was loudly bragging to them about how he went to my house JUST to play the videogames we had.

To this day it hurts to remember. That betrayal, even at a young age, really affected me. Thankfully the principal saw everything that happened. I don’t know what happened with him, but what I do know, is that he let me go play with the school dog. That definitely cheered me up.

When it was the first day of my new school ( I transfer school ) I met a boy named Stefan. We were bffs when year 5 started I met a new girl best friend her name was Aleeya they started to talk more and then when today they hate me and block me we ( Stefan and Aleeya has only been friends for 1 months and I been friends with him for 1 year) they started to make me feel left out he mostly laugh at me for falling down or failing he mostly wait for Aleeya and then they told me they were annoyed of me. One of my friend said “ Stefan hates u “ and they all are teaming up with me I don’t trust them anymore
