This is gonna sound stupid, and I'm sure nobody will reply, but are you supposed to wet a brush then apply the makeup just like you would when you paint? I've never used makeup before and I didn't want to ruin my makeup

Yeah. Apparently SFX makeup is not for me. The only look I achieved was purple eyelashes with a spongebob looking black eye( just a purple dot on my face)

Love the tutorial but I was bummed when I looked for a description to see what type of makeup was used for this. I have my standard Halloween cream makeup as well as alcohol paint s but not the best idea to be using alcohol so close to the eyes lol.
