ОтветитьCan't count how many games I've seen you cover that get an immediate "That looks cool", but then it is early access with some fundamental issue that I then never remember to go back to it later.
Oh well.

ОтветитьSounds a little too stressful for me. Been chilling like hell with "TCG Card Shop Simulator." It's like a typical sim game, only made by somebody who can actually make a functional game.
ОтветитьTried it during NextFest or whatever it was called, it does get frantic, though I wouldn't say pausing is the core issue. The main problem for me was that when resources get depleted you don't get notified, so you only realize that when you can't build the tower you've been waiting for and it'll take another minute to move production, by which time you're dead. Even Anno notifies you immediately, and it's way more chill.

Like is this supposed to be "the Dark Souls of tower defenses"? Who is their target audience?

ОтветитьThere should be pause. It’s a basic function. If people don’t want to pause, they don’t have to.
But most people want to pause. At the very least, it’s convenient for things like having to let the dog out, get to the door when there’s a delivery, answer the phone, baby waking up on the monitor. No pausing is just dumb and inconsiderate for the consumers time
thanks for the share and that the same thing i been saying for years about games they are not meant to be stressful to the point of frustration and today a lot of RPG and build games, such are all built this way, we just want to sit and have a bit of fun winning without grinding in everything we play.

The game needs difficulty options. No pause while in the menu screen & resource grind will forever limit the sales of this as a niche game.

ОтветитьAt least a slowed down time while you're in building menus or yeah some kind of pause to plan a bit.
We all agree on this and now the feedback ball should reach them somehow from people who tried on early access.
It should be a pretty fun little game if they grow it while listening to feedback.
I have been eyeing this game for sometime. The concept seems cool.
