None of these three languages are even remotely close to one another! Arabic is a Semitic language, Turkish is a central Asian language and Persian is an indo-European language!
The reason we think that they are related is because Iran and Turkey are geographically very close to Arabic speaking counties and ofcourse they are predominantly Muslim just like most Arabs are. Moreover, Iranian uses Arabic letters and Turkish has lots of borrowed Arabic words; otherwise, no connection whatsoever😂😂😂😂
In a way I felt sorry for the Turkish and Persian girls because their only understanding of Arabic would have been a few words here and there! I think they should have been replaced with other semantic language speakers such as Amharic or even Maltese!

The title says middle Eastern languages, Persians understood the title and didn’t have a problem Turks i think don’t understand english so they be crying in the comments saying Turkish is not in the same family as Arabic meanwhile Persian is in a different family too not only Turkish here but Persians didn’t say anything because they understood the title. The idea of the video is about Middle Easters languages; Arabic Persian and Turkish not Semitic languages

It's totally fascinating! In Paris, France we have an Oriental Languages Institute (university) called INALCO that teaches all of these languages, and they started out several centuries ago by teaching Persian, Turkish and Arabic to Louis XIV's ministers, before becoming a renown school nearly 300 years ago. Bachelor degree students in Turkish can take up other Turkic languages (such as Turkmen, Uzbek, Yakut, Tatar, Kazakh, etc.) and most dialects of Arabic are also taught. Oh, and of course they teach Korean, too! Look it up, it's unique in the world!

Turkish, also known as Türkçe, is a language with a rich history that has evolved over time. Contrary to the common misconception, Turkish is not derived from Arabic. It belongs to the Turkic language family, which is completely distinct from the Semitic language family to which Arabic belongs.

Turkish has its origins in Central Asia and has been influenced by various languages throughout its development. The earliest form of Turkish, known as Old Turkic, was spoken by the Göktürks and other Turkic tribes in the 6th to 8th centuries. Over time, Turkish absorbed vocabulary from languages like Persian, Arabic, French, Italian, and English due to historical interactions and trade.

However, the core structure of Turkish, its grammar, and most of its vocabulary are rooted in the Turkic language family. Turkish underwent significant linguistic reforms under the guidance of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey, to replace the Arabic script with the Latin alphabet and to simplify the language by removing Arabic and Persian loanwords.

In summary, Turkish is a member of the Turkic language family, and its historical roots and linguistic structure are distinct from Arabic. It has been shaped by various cultural influences, but its core identity remains rooted in the Turkic linguistic tradition

such a weird comparison that strengthens the wrong general thought: "turkish people speaks arabic". of course turkish people do share a lot of words as a result of living together for years in south east but it doesn't change the fact that turkish and arabic are completely different languages. in turkish there are lots of french words as well but it doesn't mean that turkish people can understand french. turkish should've been in a video with other turkic countries

Three different language families which originated in totally different and unrelated parts of the world, came to occupy the same region in the last millenia. Long story short: No, they don't, except perhaps for the loanwords in the last thousand years.

Turkish is a very different language from Arabic. Its only connection with Arabic was under the influence of Islam in the past, the works were influenced by Arabic (only courtiers, because at that time the wealthy class and courtiers were interested in literature. The people were doing folk literature). For this reason, some Arabic and Persian words entered Turkish. Thanks to Atatürk in 1928, Turkish was simplified. Under the influence of Islam in the Ottoman period, Turkish separated from the root Turkish alphabet and switched to the Arabic alphabet. Atatürk changed this in 1928 and brought the Latin alphabet. In these years, English words have been added and are being added. If a video is to be made with this logic, the English accented video must also be in Turkish.

I want to add something extra. Here, Turkish is reflected as if it were an Arab country. We Turks are also very uncomfortable with this. For years, the foreign press, unfortunately, misrepresented the Turks. Turks come from Central Asia and have no kinship with Arabs. It's not that we don't like Arabs here. After all, we are Turks and we want to be known as Turks. I think there should be another video about Turks and Turkish nations should participate.

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iran are at the forefront of the countries where Turkic peoples live intensely. People of Turkish origin, who are citizens of the autonomous republic or in a minority position, also live in Iraq, China (East Turkestan), Russia, the Balkans and various other European countries. (I got this article from Wikipedia)

I used Google translate while writing the text. Sorry if there are minor mistakes.

In the secular Turkish republic founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1923, women were given the right to vote and be elected in the 1930s!!! The whole world is watching and knows how women in the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia are subjected to what laws in the country! So why did you put Turkey here? This is impossible to understand! Even the former Iranian Shah Reza Pahlavi came to Turkey by train and was Atatürk's guest for 3 weeks in order to see Atatürk's revolutions closely! The shah of the period implemented these revolutions in his own country. At that time, Saudi Arabia was not even a state! Therefore, the Republic of Türkiye cannot have a place here!!! The Turkish-Persian cultural connection with Iran has existed since the Seljuk conquest of Iran, and Ancient Persian cultural values are important. But even in Saudi Arabia, we have never had a religious understanding! First of all, I would like to remind the Turkish youth here!!

İnteresting topic about Turkish:

it is possible for a Turk who is has full control in turkish vocabulary to speak with using less/more arabic words or using less/more turkish words when she is speaking turkish.

For example, in Turkish when we say "hello" we generally using "selamun aleyküm" or "merhaba" which both are comes from Arabic, obviously. But also we can choose "esenlikler" which comes from Turkic origin

Using arabic/persian words much more, it's like trying to speak Ottoman Turkish.
