Thank you Ken!
ОтветитьA great simple way to understand the 12 steps
ОтветитьMy view of the steps- was to climb up the steps. Stay there for a while. Crash and burn and end up at the bottom again. So I pictured that steps like the numbers on the clock. Much, much easier- much more benign.
ОтветитьMan I've been going through the 12 steps without even realizing it was happening. I just thought about it right now. I think of it as restructuring the mind, I don't believe in God.
ОтветитьThank you, ❤
ОтветитьNice perspective and explanation. This is helfpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьThe more I read and understand step 7 the better my life becomes.
ОтветитьI am only powerless after I take the first drink.
ОтветитьPrecisely how I recovered
ОтветитьAcceptance doesn't mean approval
ОтветитьYou're in a controlling cult that strips away your identity. There are better ways to get sober.

ОтветитьCan you elaborate on this aspect of steps 4/5 please? When there is a resentment from a situation where we were totally a victim, not intending any harm (examples: got beat up by a bully or shunned by peer group - it is a natural desire to want to have friends and social group) - are we really supposed to dig for "where were we to blame" in these types of scenarios? Thank you very much.
