Im not paying for the same game ive spent 10 years on 😅, they just shit at making games thats why they made a remastered game instead of ark 2 something we actually want

asking for a refund. playing on an rtx 3080 10 gb, i7 9700k and 32gb ddr4 ram and nvme ssd 1tb... couldnt get anything higher than 30fps unless I crank almost everything to LOW... at which point I got about 60-70fps (decent) on 3440x1440 resolution with DLSS enabled and super resolution at BALANCED... MIND you that is using the r.volumetricfog 0 command an r.volumetricclouds 0 command which makes the game look like ITS NOT UE5 anymore... so yeah... all those new eye candys... someone with an rtx 3080 CANNOT even enjoy at the moment... and THAT is not normal. The game is 0 optimized... it is early access I know... but in its current state... IT IS NOT WORTH 60$ ... more like 20$... and honestly with all those graphics compromise I had to make, Im not enjoying my time in ark ascended AT ALL... my whole reason for revisiting this game ARE the UE5 improvements... but if theyre not PROPERLY optimized... whats the point... Even cyberpunk 2077 which is a POORLY optimized title runs WAY better than this game and I can crank most settings through the roof on cyberpunk including RTX shadows, RTX reflections and raytracing.... plus right now GLOBAL illumination GLITCHES like crazy whenever FIRE is involved... U get WEIRD lighting artifacts from fire sources all over buildings and walls and the jungle... seriously this release is a HUGE MESS right now. Getting a steam refund. AVOID this game like the plague until theyve properly optimized it.

IF they optimize it properly at some point I might consider purchasing it again...
but for now Im going for a refund. this is a LOUSY early access... its not like theyre building from scratch like they were with ASE... theyve got all this experience and $$ we deserve better

1. ive got thousands of hours on ark survival evolved
2. Ive never requested a steam refund in 18 years on steam, this will be my first

Seeing that house that got blown up by a RPG reminders me of server wiping and 20 hours of gameplay gone to waste

This is like cs2 new graphic update and a few new features but difference is you pay 50$💀💀💀💀

So they bringing the most hacked game to the hackers a full month before the console players this lot are just a joke 😢 the game will be ruined by hacks within 2 weeks! I hope the have console only servers.
