Oh my gosh. I loved the front yard. Then, when I saw the back….paradise. Like how did that turn into this?!

What an absolutely beautiful yard. Oh I need Michael to help me out. I have 7 acers large long brick driveway thru a 10 -12 ft stucco wall and iron gate and on back of wall on one side is closed walled garden with pergala with wisteria and relief from italy on back wall and center fountain and driveway lined in crape myrtles and have magnolia trees around and need help with our older stupid deep pool and have walls for glass doors on house but out in country and private but also have small farm here with animals and vegetables and fruit orchards but have done lots of renovations and still work in process but this summer been adding landscaping around house and outside gates. We also have a basketball court and a couple of storage buildings /barn . But absolutely Love this garden. We have lots of hydrangeas and just planted hostas around them. Working on our greenhouse now. So many of the plants in this garden we have like the Japanese maples and the European trees and olive and we are in GA so neat it works in so many parts of country with way different climates and weather.

Amazing transformation! I was hired by Megan and her husband as a Chicken Consultant when they were just starting to work on their backyard and construction was underway. We spent time talking about future coop styles and how to protect the chickens from predators in their area. I am truly in awe of the chicken coop they ended up creating, and the development of the gorgeous garden and back yard retreat. Micheal Glassman did such a wonderful job on the design and incorporating all the important elements to build a gardener's dream!

Hope we get to see her next garden!

OMG OMG OMG !! OUT OF THIS WORLD !!! I could never move from such a GORGEOUS place. I'd have given anything to have had a tour of the chicken coup😢😢

IMPORTANT QUESTIONS !!! 1) I'd love to know more about what's under the gravel, the preparation work. 2) are these patio slabs on concrete? 3)won't the roots of the tree's near the house damage the foundations?4) how best to deal with a garden on a steep slope?5) designing a garden for an extremely HOT country. I'm new to your video's and I've probably missed many( I'll try to recify that asp)but this gentleman is brilliant as he also explains much about things that are hidden to us and how to resolve problems which is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. I'm writing to you from Costa del Sol,Andalucia, southern Spain. ❤ps. Maybe poppet you could do separate video's dealing with problems such as I've mentioned above. Now THAT would be FANTASTIC !!!

TIP: what works to elemental slugs for me is to put sand on them when they start to come out of the ground. Cheap and easy. Beautiful video‼️

My tip for hostas is to plant them in metal buckets (with drainage holes punched in the bottom). Slugs and snails won’t crawl up the bucket…. However if there is a bridge them the snails will slide on over! Also a dressing of decorative stones on the compost will stop snails laying eggs in the soil if your hostas are in ceramic/ plastic planters 🐌

OH my goodness. What a treat to be able to be toured around this garden. I can't imagine leaving this garden. I think I would just want to be buried there. I hope we get to see the new garden which I imagine will be just fabulous. This is just the best video podcast!
