I've been given a PGP fingerprint in order to sent someone a message, how do i get the public key from the fingerprint?

Bruh why is it greyed out for me. And why do you need to create your own keypair just to encrypt a message.
Edit: It was because the pub-key wasn't copied to my clipboard :/

I don't know if this wil be read but, i applied for an internship at a big firm and they told me i had to encrypt my email and so i got me a pgp via Kleopatra, but then they send me a message that it was invalid and they highlighted the public key size which was -1. Can anybody help me on what i can do to fix this
