The best part is that this guy went through all the effort of modeling the head, mapping the motion, building the tutorial video, and then cutting the demo with the scene from the terminator, but somehow didnt think to color grade the scene the same as the one from the movie?

Bro i appreciate the hard work but this effect takes only 5 minutes with the dynamic paint ,
Just set the face object as dynamic paint as canvas
And set its type to displace

And now select the bars object and enable dynamic paint on it as well after that just set the dynamic paint type to brush and ur all set no much need of hard work

But it must need some finishing details so you might have to work on that
