Let this fact sink in:
In 2007, Tom Cruise turned down Iron Man/Tony Stark and played Les Grossman instead.
TC will be remembered as one of the grestest actors in history !
Ответить"and, uh, find out who that was." LOL. Tom Cruise is a good sport for doing that. It honestly makes it that much funnier.
ОтветитьThis movie proves Tom Cruise has a sense of humor and loves comedy!
ОтветитьTom Cruise told Ben Stiller, "The script is funny but it needs a producer character to apply pressure from on high."
Ben Stiller returned with a draft containing Les Grossman and Cruise said, "I want to play him. I want fat hands and I wanna dance."
And that was how Tom Cruise, without writing a word or directing a shot, created one of the greatest characters in the history of film.
Tom Cruise played this part so well because movie execs are just like that. Cold hearted bastards all about the money, pulling strings behind the scenes. Well done Mt Cruise, well done.
ОтветитьNot sure if he's the best or the worst emergency contact.
ОтветитьLes Grossman for US Secretary of Defense. 🇺🇸🎖️🇺🇸⚔️🇺🇸
ОтветитьDIET COKE!
Ответить"We'll weep for him.... in the press" Lmao😂😂
ОтветитьBill Hader doesn't get enough love for his performance.
ОтветитьIt is kinda a shame he was in this movie - it’s such a great performance from Cruise, it would’ve been all anybody talked about in any other comedy. He had the misfortune to be in the same film as Downey Jr with his legendary portrayal of Osiris, but total respect to Cruise for a great effort I love him in this.
ОтветитьTop 10 all time favorite comedy for sure!!
ОтветитьLes Grossman is what Andrew Tate on a bunch of steroids would be.
ОтветитьDiet Coke!
ОтветитьIf you dont think this is tom cruise's best role of his career then we probably don't have a lot in common.
ОтветитьTom Cruise is playing himself
ОтветитьGod damn this movie was crazy.
ОтветитьTom Cruise best character to date
ОтветитьThe black face made this movie what it is...
ОтветитьHuge profit margin.
Ответить"Best moments". It's just his entire scenes in the movie.
ОтветитьThe tirade against Flaming Dragon is great, but the cherry on top is his causal, “Could you find out who that was?” as he walks back to his desk.
ОтветитьI know everybody wants a Les Grossman movie or something, but really I just hope they remember it won't work quite so well without Bill Hader around as his Smithers.
ОтветитьI've seen the entire movie and only on that last scene recognized Tom Cruise...
ОтветитьSurely I'm not the only one that wants a Les Grossman movie?
ОтветитьConfession: I saw this in the theater in 2008. I did not realize it was Tom Cruise until the very last scene.
ОтветитьIt obviously paid back that Ben Stiller seems to be good friends with a lot of his colleagues. The fact he got Tom Cruise, RDJ, Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey in the movie...😂
Ответитьtom cruise should do more comedy roles his cameo in Austin powers and les Grossman proves he can 😂
ОтветитьBasically all Les Grossman moments were the best moments xD
ОтветитьI want fat hands and I'm gonna dance.
ОтветитьOne of the GOAT actors in Hollywood in his best role. Dancing at the end. You could tell how much he loved it.
ОтветитьHe may be a lunatic, but damn he is gifted and a tireless worker 😂
Ответитьa nutless monkey could do your job 😥
ОтветитьLes Grossman Season 1 is in the works.
Ответить"They're gonna kill him" ---(blank stare) lol.
Ответить🤣 yes. It will never not be funny.
ОтветитьI want to go to the Les Grossman School of Executive Management.
ОтветитьI finally saw Tropic Thunder a few nights ago and I was blown away by Tom Cruise as Les Grossman. I admit, I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise the person or at least what I know about him, but I respect the hell out of Tom Cruise the actor. He's been great in so many of his film roles and this one was probably the best from him i've ever seen. When he starts dancing to Flo Rida's "Low", he's practically hypnotic. Also props to Bill Hader Les Grossman's slimy little brown nosing yes man.
Ответить“But seriously, a nutless monkey could do your job.”
Vicious, but funny.
McConaughey, Hader and Cruise in these scenes - no wonder they are classic.
ОтветитьI still can't believe how epic this whole movie was. There will never ever be another one like it.
ОтветитьI wouldn't have guessed Les was Tom Cruise if it was a silent film. I recognized him by his voice. This is the first time I saw Tom dancing.
Ответить"Smack it up, flip it, rub it down... woooOOOO" is my favorite line
ОтветитьThere needs to be a sequel to this masterpiece
ОтветитьDude this movie had so many goat actors Wth lol
ОтветитьFun fact: Tropic Thunder finally dethroned The Dark Knight from the top spot at the box offices. Dark Knight was on top for 4 weeks.
Ответить“U spank that ass les” 😭 always funny
ОтветитьThis movie has become better with time. I didn’t think it was great when it came out but I watch it at least once a year.
