Some of the Zealots actually still say Morir Es Vivir but compared to the original, only a few will say it at random but very hard to hear as in the remake, they are a bit more muted compared to the original Zealots and they will chant it usually when they haven't spot you yet. I mainly hear them chant: Mas, Corazones and Cerebros but once in awhile did get the odd Morir es Vivir.

So I know the game translates everything by itself but there are a lot of things left in translated so I want to see you guys nerd out about some blasphemous 2

I started playing the original version in my first year of spanish back in middle school and after some years of playing it and watching the original "what are they saying in re4?" video, i can say i learned quite a bit. By the time the remake came out, i was in my 4th year of spanish in high school and at that point, I was able to understand the villagers' threats pretty well. I picked up the spanish pronunciations of some letters and the Vosotros conjugations pretty quickly because of this game (since we aren't learning the spanish dialect from spain)

I miss a few zealot lines like "morir es vivir" and the deep voice MATALO!
But something that is nice is at least they are speaking more proper Spanish to reflect the Spanish location. I was forced to take 7 years of Spanish in school because I was a history major and one thing that I do remember is that there's unique phrases and verb endings for castillian Spanish that is only used in Spain.

Great video, being Argentinian I could tell the dilligence that went into making all of these translations (if I had to do it myself I would've gone a bit easier because laziness is a powerful force okay). Just wanted to correct that Val is actually a shortened form of Valle often used in place names, and the translation in the wiki is valid. Hopefully no one else mentioned that and I'm not making myself look like a dumbo

I remember how much fun it was learning what they were saying in the original from the other video. I just got the remake and noticed there was a LOT more voice acting from the enemies, and I'm stoked that there's a follow-up video for the remake.

Actually the monster of the lake is a giant salamander. And it's called Salamandra del lago.


When the police officer is asking for backup in the radio, he asks "¿Quiénes sois?"("Who are you?" In plural) so I assume he was asking to the ganados that were surrounding him before he got caught.
