i want to learn how to nollie but my brain already registered my middle finger as the finger that i used for popping the board and now when i try to nollie it just wont pop because i always use my middle finger to pop not the index

I used my airpods as a marker when I was trying to olly and it worked

I put down a book or rail and that helps a lot

the tape method is similar to how i would learn hopping into (and out of) nose manuals on bmx laying down a garden hose

I used tech decks way back in the day. Recently bought another, idk what yall think about those vs the ones used in the video.

ive been told multip,le times that the quality of grip tape is important but no one tells me what the good brands are.

When I would get jammed for committing to the trick I just put my extra finger boards in the middle of my desk so I had to do the Ollie to get to the other ramps

I can’t really pop the tail of the board when doing an Ollie my the tail stays on the table and the nose goes up but I’m not sure how to fix it

i had that pattern when I started fingerboarding fr and what help me a lot was doing olies on the wall

I can’t even Ollie a finger board I have 3 but just don’t get the pop off the kick tail at all using middle finger as if it was a right foot and pointer finger as if was left foot tbh haven’t practiced much but I’m really struggling compared to a real life skateboard

I found the best way to learn how to "pop" or ollie was to do it on the side of your knee. For some reason, it helps you learn the motions much quicker without dropping the board a million times.
I've always practiced on the side of my knee and it's how I learned to do all the basic flip tricks. It gets super complicated busting flips into grinds n such. But definitely if the traditional way of tape and pens doesn't work, try your knee.

Can you do a video about how to use obstacles? I have no skateboarding background and I have been finger boarding for the past 5 months. BTW your videos have helped me progress a lot not only with tricks but also with the tools. I've got 2 obstacles a rail and the teck deck shred pyramid and I find myself not knowing how to shred for lack of a better way to say it lol

it doent matter how big your place is to fingerboard it just depends if you can use the stuff on the table as a obstical like jackperry
