Not hard to see why LSU fired their entire defensive staff shortly after this game. LSU's offense still practically unstoppable even without the Heisman trophy winner and a QB making their first start. Nussmeier's got a canon.

I wouldn’t brag too much about this way if I was LSU. This is a “put the ball in the refs hands and go back to the sideline” kind of situation.

Idk how Wisconsin stayed in this game with all the opt outs they had ntm they haven't been very good this year. Everyone thought they would get beat by 30. But that replay botch on that 30 yard touchdown where the lsu players foot was clearly on the white is totally unacceptable. And whats even more inept is the fact the refs weren't going to even look at it until Fickell took a timeout! You could easily see the foot impression well out of bounds as well as the ball moving. That takes a touchdown off the board and would of been 3rd and long. That play alone probably cost Wisconsin the game.

After a whole month of preparation our defense actually got worse! I shudder to think what would've happened if they would've gotten another week!

This was the best non college football playoff bowl on New Year's Day by far. The two Semi Final games between Michigan-Alabama and Washington-Texas were fantastic, but this bowl between LSU and Wisconsin was really good also.

BIG 10 bringing it home since Washington Is technically a BIG 10 team.. 2 SEC teams lost to BIG 10 teams.. I’m sorry SEC but we are the better CONFERENCE and ….. HAIL TO THE VICTORS 〽️〽️🏆

This years bowl games were similar to last year. Mostly blowouts with a few gems. Even the first round of the cfp was spot on good tv like last year. Lets just hope that the championship isnt a repeat. I really dont see either michigan or wash keeping the other under ten points though

Nuss is the new white version of Michael Penix Jr., except he plays for LSU. I mean, how many QBs in their first start ever at QB against a quality opponent passes for 395 yards, throws three TD passes, and has a passing completion percentage rate of 69 percent? The answer is no one.

Not to mention that last year in the second half of the SEC title game in Atlanta, GA, Nuss not only set a new all-time LSU record for passing yards completed in a half with 294 yards passing, but he also out scored the eventual national champions as well in the second half after Jayden Daniels got hurt.

So, no Daniel's or Nabors? That is being the greedy bastards football players have become

Lots of respect to Wisconsin, a very proud program. They came to play, and play they did, but I can’t help but be proud of LSU for playing hard, especially on offense after losing their Heisman winning QB. Defense HAS to be fixed though.

Wisconsin is cooking, hopefully they’ll make a run to make their conference more interesting next year. My Tigers just need a good defense because I didn’t see much drop off on offense just a different style. Hellva game too!
