Good. For. Society!
ОтветитьSo this is what a well orchestrated prank sounds like...
ОтветитьAnd now I have this "princess dream" and cannot ask my musician friends to make it happen because I think it would be innapropriate. But OMG it's the prettiest thing and I'd be crying happy tears for a week😭😂🥰❤❤
ОтветитьDo you guys pre-watch all those videos or you see them for the first time when filming this?
ОтветитьKlaus Wallendorf doesn't look quite so pleased by having the whole orchestra playing Happy Birthday as just about all the rest were - Sarah is almost having to tell him to lighten up!
ОтветитьHe actually pulls this exact prank 😂 "can you imagine? "
ОтветитьYou two guys are good for society!
ОтветитьToday is my birthday
Ответитьhe funny thing is:
I played on the stage of the last surprise already a few times
so you mean that the orchestra can basically synchronise themselves and no need of the conductor 😂
ОтветитьI'd love to see a collection of these where Happy Birthday wasn't allowed.
ОтветитьLove the mozart 25 in the back!
ОтветитьWhere is Romeo and Juliet meets Star Wars???
ОтветитьYou two, Brett and Eddy, are excellent for society. And today’s episode was a lot of fun. Thank you!
ОтветитьThe conductor handed out parts for "March of the Toys" from Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland for my youth orchestra to sight read. It begins with a four-note vamp, played twice...then the bass trombonist broke into the Mickey Mouse Club theme song, which starts the same way. The whole orchestra was pranked, and the conductor applauded.
ОтветитьThis is so wholesome, oh my goodness
ОтветитьWhats the trumpet solo piece name
ОтветитьLove seeing your commentary. Less orchestra and more silly commentary - NOT!!!
ОтветитьThe first one with Happy Birthday woven in sounds like a PDQ Bach arrangement. 😀
ОтветитьThank you for listing out the notes to the inverted F major for a non-perfect pitch plebian like me :D
Ответитьvery wholesome pranks, definitely good for society.
Ответитьwhat trumpet solo was that? i dont recognize it which is sad because im very much into classical and I play trumpet
ОтветитьFavorite orchestra prank I was involved with was in a youth orchestra we had a concert scheduled on April 1, and were performing Tchaikovsky 4th symphony. At the rehearsal before the actual concert we conspired to play F sharp as the final note of the last movement, which nearly caused the conductor to fall off the podium. Not nearly as wholesome or creative as the HBD pranks but was quite entertaining. (For those not familiar, this movement ends with typical big symphonic flourish of F F F F F F F F F. F. …and then we threw in F sharp at the end).
ОтветитьWhere are the Imperial March video's?
ОтветитьAny time an orchestra breaks into "happy birthday" for one of their musicians or for the conductor, it's good for society!!
Ответитьrelated to what eddie said about second violins
ОтветитьWhen I watch these videos I make comments about chord progressions and arrangements in my head. It’s so awesome to hear others appreciate the same things 😂❤
ОтветитьWe can never have a vodeo without Eddy flexing his perfect pitch
ОтветитьBrett got rickrolled the same way just six months later...
Ответить"Pranks"? More like goated versions of Happy Birthday
ОтветитьI lost count of how many times Brett said these pranks were good for society... I have a feeling he thinks they are good for society, just a hunch though
Ответитьwhy didnt the pianist play rick roll
Ответитьrevisiting cos i'm starting orchestra in a month!!!! super excited and if anyone has advice, please do tell, thanks :)
ОтветитьAll the Happy Birthdays are so majestic
ОтветитьIn secondary school (that's 13yo to 16yo), I played in my school's symphonic band and we had a wonderful, wonderful conductor Mr Luk, who we all lovingly refer to as Laoshi (simply, "teacher" in Mandarin - in Singapore school band scene there's only one Laoshi and that was him). Laoshi was amazing - he never lost his patience or temper with us, and he guided us to make beautiful music. He also conducted one of the university's symphonic band, so I played under his baton for a couple more years. Laoshi passed away 4 years ago, he was in his 80s. I didn't think a compilation of prank videos would bring so much tears to my eyes. In all the happy birthday pranks, you can tell everyone's celebrating that person, bringing a smile to that person's face, wishing that person well. There's so much joy and gratitude. I can't think of anyone more deserving of such a musical well-wishing in my life than Laoshi yet there's no longer this chance. If you're thinking of pranking your conductor this way but hesitating, just do it, it'll make your conductor feel so loved, and will be a fantastic memory.
ОтветитьYou use work of other. Minimum is to share link to original video.
ОтветитьI love how eddy did the same prank to brett 😂
ОтветитьThe first happy birthday was genius mode, but the second one was really sweet 💕
ОтветитьIn the epic Wagner stage ... that chorus wasnt even in concert dress.
Never once did I ever sing in a symphony chorus without performing in at least simple black dress.
Every time you say “Good for society” I fucking cry laughing
ОтветитьAs a musician I cannot honestly tell you that no one will ever play happy birthday for me with an orchestra or with a group of musicians . IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
Ответитьi smiled so much!!!! cheeks hurt! awesome for society <3
Ответитьit would be so nice to hear happy birthday being played by an orchestra just for you 🥹🥹
