The empty bags distract from an otherwise good scene. I don't get why they don't put something in props so they are realistic

At least she had the good sense to accept Big's help. Despite her legitimate grievance against the man, she understood she could rely on him when push comes to shove, (quite literally in this case). People do need to set aside their bias in times of emergency. Give help and accept help when it is necessary whether friend or foe. Big and Charlotte make a good comedic team.
