Is it microtonal? Can you use scala files. Is ther master tuning?
ОтветитьJust grabbed it before checking you out.
ОтветитьJust excellent I highly recommend!!!!
Ответитьsuch a shame this isn’t on iphone
ОтветитьGreat app, in standalone under settings I can select the midi input, but I can’t see any thing for selecting the midi channels
ОтветитьHoping for a Blofeld auv3 next! No encoder rot and so much menu diving would be fantastic.
ОтветитьWhat version iOS is required?
ОтветитьThis is fantastic. Bought the app this afternoon. Love it. Thank you, Doug!
ОтветитьDoug, Thanx for the great and thorough review. Looks like I’m getting another synth 😂 Grey F♾️l 😌
ОтветитьIs this similar to synthmaster................dont want to buy anymore, ill get greif from other half haha, looks decent though. what other options do we have for wavetable synths.
ОтветитьThis sounds great and thanks for the demo, Doug. Does anyone know if it responds to poly-aftertouch. That would be amazing with my Hydrasynth as a controller.
ОтветитьUsually I hear about new AUv3s from Doug's channel but this time I got the information directly from Waldorf (maybe because I'm a registered owner of a Blofeld with SL extension). So I bought Microwave for iPad already yesterday and I love it! In fact I doubt if I really needed this because I already own so many brilliant software synths but this one revives one of the heroes of my youth. In 1990 I had the chance to try one of the first models in a shop in Cologne and it was amazing! So different then all the others at the time and then the fancy design with the big red knob in this indigo blue case. 😍 Unfortunately I can't afford it back then. Having this Microwave on my iPad means for me primarily a journey to the past. I hope that Waldorf sees the interest of the community so that the make a AUv3 renewal of Nave too. Thank you for the walkthrough Doug! 😎👍
ОтветитьI still think it’s a bloody shame that all the Wolfgang palm iOS apps have disappeared when he sold his IP. I still have WaveGenerator on my iPad and that’s a bloody fantastic app. Kick myself for not having wavemapper too. I have the original microwave 1 rev A and the vst makes a great editor too. I just bought the app. I’m just a sucker for wavetable synths 😅 and I don’t want to make the same mistake again as I did with wavemapper. If only I knew how to sideboard the ipa on my iPad…
Ответить€15,-, but for you it’s only €14,99.
ОтветитьFinally a new Waldorf app on iOS. Not many rackmount module/digital emulations on iPad either. Thank you for this demonstration. 🎹
Ответитьlegend! but the presets are childish
ОтветитьPretty cool thanks Doug
ОтветитьNave is great. Is this much different or better?
ОтветитьDidn’t see this coming! Lovely. Hoping Waldorf still have the code for Nave as well now they’re tickling the iOS world again and get that updated. I’ve got an old iPad stuck in state at around iOS 11 just for Nave even though it does still work on modern iOS levels. One day it might not and then we’re in Blofeld territory of cult following, capable as hell but stuck with some issues. This is a no brainer!
ОтветитьWaldorf should send you their latest hardware synths to demo, because you do explain things clearly. Great demo.
Sold!!
This is great, what a surprise! Love the sounds and this is even without any effects. Thanks Doug!
ОтветитьHI like the sounds on this one.
ОтветитьI have to say out of any of the iOS synths this one seems almost endless in its possibilities.
ОтветитьMany of the presets do sound pretty lame. I guess it comes into its own when you start sound designing..
