I've had a pair of Doc Martens for almost 15 years now. The sole is nearly worn out and the stitching looks beat up. Other than that they still look amazing. I was planning on getting a new pair this year, but a surprise blizzard force me to do an emergency purchase of pair of timberlands instead. Glad to hear the build quality is on the level. Though I am still concerned with how quickly they will look scuffed and ugly :/
ОтветитьMy personal opinion on boots that you can resole is that I don't want to ware a pair of boots for more then 2 years anyways, so all those expensive brands I don't bother with . So timberlands are perfect for me. Cheers from northern indiana usa
ОтветитьMy favorite are cats I had some for over 10 years
ОтветитьTimberland forever good shoes
ОтветитьThat’s a nice look friend. Where’s you get that jacket and the blue Dennis one under it from
ОтветитьThey're both cheap. Under $200. Not constructed for you to resole for the next 2 decades. You don't compare $140 boots on Amazon, to expensive boots that cost five times as much. I own both. Comfortable. Both feel really good. Cheap enough that I don't cry over them when they get dirty from field dressing fish and game, or all of the vomit and urine in a bar bathroom. I don't wear my Allen Edmonds or Alden when we slaughter a goat on the ranch, or when I'm washing dishes at Panda Express.
ОтветитьI'm more interested in the jackets 😁 anyone knows the brand?
ОтветитьNever had docs, but my 6in pit boss streel toes have never let me down 👍
ОтветитьIt comes down to preference. If someone doesn't care about a shank (if they know what it is) or how the shoe was put together and just cares about the simple looks and feels like a normal person buying a shoe, then either of these shoes could take the cake.
ОтветитьNyc vs La
ОтветитьI used to rock Doc M in HS during the 1990’s. Thought about buying a new pair until this channel showed me the ways. Thank you!
ОтветитьThe major difference is real hood niqq@s wouldn't even let you bury them in a ugly pair of Doc Martins.
ОтветитьI have 2 Timberland boots. One is from 1999 and the other is 2004. Still look brand new and going to replace the 1999 sole because already hard. 2004 also going to get the sole stitch up. Both getting the soles upgrade.
ОтветитьThis video started my journey. By showing WHY my timberlands had lasted 5+ years, it made me trust Weston. That lead to me buying a pair of red wing iron rangers. Then some Thursday sneakers. Finally, I saved enough money for a pair of nick's handmade boots. I have a hard time imagining better boots.
Anyone new to quality footwear, you should trust Weston(mr Rose Anvil). His channel is zero bullshit and 99% quality focus.
Timbs is 100% waterproof, i once ride my motor on heavy rain I basically ended up wearing two buckets of water.
ОтветитьGreat quality video. Always owned DM’s before but never Timbs. Time to upgrade.
Any bikers here use Timbs for riding? Just got into bikes recently, considering getting these.
I've had Tim's wear out cause the glue gets undone. Tough to cone back from
ОтветитьBig, BIG difference on these two: The Dr. Martens is absolutely worse in cold weather. It's a lot less warm, and the sole freezes and becomes super slippery in below 0 degrees centigrade.
ОтветитьI like the military look of the docs but the flat looking sole looks awful for anything outdoors. The shiny plastic looking leather lets it down as well.
ОтветитьDM'S ARE AN URBAN BOOT, TIMBERLAND ARE A WORK BOOT
ОтветитьOverall, I think timberlands will last much longer than dr martins because that foam will die fast.
ОтветитьI have both & gotta say I prefer the Dr Martens for some reason. In terms of comfort (once broken in) and looks.
Ответитьgreat vid
ОтветитьRegardless, i prefer the Dr Martens any day of the year. Nothing comes close to their style.
ОтветитьI don't think I've ever seen a white person wear Timberlands tbh
ОтветитьTimbs seem better plus got that b.i.g rep
ОтветитьDoc Martens are the most God awful crap.
ОтветитьIn my opinion Docs are like a full leather chuck taylor, Chuck’s don’t have any shank and are flexible and comfortable. Docs are not hardcore work boots just a tough sneaker.
ОтветитьTimberlands all the way ...DMs will have your feet Sore and cold in the Winter
ОтветитьI don't want a shank. Why do I want a stiff piece of metal or wood in my boot? I want it to bend with my foot.
ОтветитьAin’t nobody surprised Tim🅱️s stomp out these hoes
ОтветитьTimberland insoles suck
Ответитьpunks and metal vs rap and hip hop
ОтветитьDoc boots are for women. Derbies are OK
ОтветитьCan you cut the Timberland Earthkeepers?
ОтветитьTe olvidaste de lo mas importante…las timberland son feisimas al lado de las de martens…
ОтветитьMy;wife was wearing a pair of Dr Martens the day I met her. I have always been a fan of Timberlands after buying a pair of soft soled nubuk boots back in the 90s and also later switching to their deck shoes instead of the then more famous makes. However, my last two pairs of Timberland boots have proved disappointing. The leather cracked open on the ball and outside tops of my last pair before the soles gave out but my last pair saw the soles fall off long before the leather tops did. I tried glueing them back on with no success and I won’t be buying another pair.
ОтветитьCan you please cut in half and do a comparison between Timberland Davis Square chukka boots and Dr Martens Cairo canvas chukka boots? These are more casual daily boots and I wanna know which of them is more comfortable and durable
ОтветитьThanks (was not sure which to buy ) 👌🏽aint ganna get Dr Martins
ОтветитьTimberland all day long, and I'm from 🏴
ОтветитьJesus Christ loves you ❤️
ОтветитьDr martens are not the same company they used to be 30 years ago . Maybe still made in UK but like many famous brands over the years … bought out and living off the famous brand name while penny pinching and cutting corners . Used to be way better quality
ОтветитьI have DM's main reason is because Im a rocker not a rapper.😅
Ответить$230! for Dr Marten''s??? I remember when they used to be £19.99!
ОтветитьI find English made Doc Martens extremely comfortable for daily wear. They are also very durable and always shine up nicely.
The reason they don’t have a shank is because it would spoil the comfort.
Sole-of-Air boots are a very similar design (made in the same town) but have a shank. I find them less comfortable, but for a person with flat feet/fallen arches, they are probably the better choice.
You don’t know shit about quality.
ОтветитьTIMBERLAND FTW!
ОтветитьMy dad has had his premium timberlands since the 90s, they are still in excellent condition dispite his near constant usage of them
