I love the dual sense controller settings as they are, I feel like trying to change them for the minuscule amount of benefit you’d gain isn’t worth it. The other two tips about the mic and speaker are great though.

Yeah, that controller intercom. Nothing worse than getting in a CO-OP/multiplayer game and realizing you forgot to turn it off and people can hear you talk to yourself, etc. The same way around hearing unwanted noise from others. Turning down the vibration intensity does make sense because there is one game in particular I play that sometimes the controller will vibrate like crazy during matchmaking. I have never seen a controller last 12 hours, maybe 8 hours.

Everything nowadays drains the battery. Same for the forced back light of the PS4 Controller.

Why does the light turned on mean the microphone is turned off??

I don't like the orange light constantly on so I won't be doing this which is sad bc I also don't want the mic always on, I just assumed it was off when the light was off :/

Mute mic and controller speaker, check. But whats the point of the feedback if it's not set to "strong". That one will stay the same. I use the Edge which is always plugged in anyway. I don't do voice chat and I hate the speaker in the controller, shouldn't be a feature at all.

Don't forgot about dimming the light bar, it's literally a feature that doesn't get used in 99% of games. Also I have no idea why Sony thought it was a good idea to put a speaker on the controller itself, since the PS4, I have muted that feature and never missed it. I just hope the PS6 just gets rid of these gimmicks and just gives us rear buttons, it would be a lot more useful then the touch pad and all the other gimmicks.

I had to plug mines in the I phone charger adapter it won’t hold a charge from my ps5

these r good to know but if i ever get a ps5 im opening the controller and cutting the mic wire so that mic cant trust the system to actually not hear u even if it says its off

what if you are using a ps5 controler for steam?

Who cares i have two and a dock to charge them swap.out controllers every 5 hours or so

Does anyone know if you can make your triangle and circle button have a turbo function with the Dual sense Edge controller? Any response from someone that knows yes or no would be much appreciated. I'm physically handicapped and double-tapping buttons more rapidly alternating button presses is very difficult for me. Thank you in advance for anyone that has the answer.

I found this video prior to getting my ps5, but now just found it again. I bought the spider man 2 bundle and my controller doesn't seem to last that long. Will implement these when I get the chance
