Thoughts / FAQs:This was a very difficult test to do fairly, they are never going to sound quite how they sound in the room. As well as this they have different speakers (All however 12") and loads of amp models to choose from. All of them can be dialled in to sound great with a bit of tweaking, and all have their uses 👍
ОтветитьBLACKSTAR Baby🤟 The Sound in your Head
ОтветитьWhat amp sounds best with headphones?
ОтветитьHow do headphones sound with the Silverlines?
ОтветитьFunny how the hating started with Gibson then added Marshall. The greatest music in the world was created with both. Fender with fender, and Marshall with les paul will never be topped. Want the true sound? Save your money and get the real stuff. This stuff is all price pointed to appeal to the people that can’t afford it. The biggest critics of anything tend to come from envy.
ОтветитьI did not expect Katana to sound so much better than the others.
ОтветитьBlackstar and boss katana are really my prefers. The fender and the Marshall rings like toys
ОтветитьMy opinion
1.marshall
2.fender
3.boss
4.blackstar
This is exactly how all amp comparison videos should be.
ОтветитьGreat review, that's how you show what one or more amps can do.
ОтветитьBoss katana mk2 50 vs blackstar Id core 40, which is a better choice?
ОтветитьBlackstar was the best one
ОтветитьYup i think the Boss is the leader here.
ОтветитьSo who is the winner??
ОтветитьBlackstar's high gain is insanely good! Might be the tiebreaker against Boss. Also, Marshall was such a disappointment.
ОтветитьHigh Gain for president with lots of Summer Sharks all over there
🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈
Had a katana and to be honest never felt like it was easy to get the best out of it. On a budget it’s an easy win, but that Blackstar surprised me- it doesn’t work like the rest. Emulating specific tube types is clever stuff and the architect software opens up deep editing. I’d like to give one a try, maybe but some drive pedals in front too
ОтветитьI think we can all agree that Marshall needs to stick to making tube amps
ОтветитьI have an itching feeling the Marshall sounds like shit in this comparison cause the cabinet simulation was on... who would run a digitally mic'd up 2x12 simulation through a real life mic'd up 1x12 speaker?... I think those are meant for the dry direct USB out
Same goes for the Fender, with it's 68 cabinet emulation. Just check Ola's review and demo of the Marshall and hear the difference when played straight out the 1x12 speaker
And without any surprise, the two best sounding amps in this review are the Boss and Blackstar, why? Cause they don't have cabinet sim's ( only on when connected through they're outs )
This would've been a near perfect review if it weren't for this one MAJOR mistake. Now I think everyone here's under the impression the Marshall and Fender sound horrible
Honestly they don't even sound that different from 100 dollar amps
ОтветитьWell, nice vid in my eyes (and ears). At the first glance the Boss and Blackstar would sound gentle to my ear, sometimes warm and mellow. However, even a -lets say - nasty sounding amp, such as the Marsh, would sound differently in a band context... an perhaps might cut through.
ОтветитьThe Blackstar is just so smooth.
ОтветитьBlackstar had the best dirty voicing of all of them to my ears.
ОтветитьKat has the edge overall. Although the Marshall was getting some decent tones.
ОтветитьObrigado por mostrar as diferenças, ia comprar um marshall, mas achei o som do blackstar muito bonito, mudei de ideia
ОтветитьKatana have done the best job of getting tube-like tones.
Ответитьi think the blackstar checked the most boxes in terms of sound making it pretty universal. and id say marshall the least. id say in order from best to worst id say blackstar, katana, mustang, marshall.
ОтветитьMarshall - Katana - Fender - Blackstar
ОтветитьMarshall
ОтветитьGreat demo..guess I'm biased as an owner of numerous blackstar amps but listening to this demo has me thinking I made the right choice
Ответитьis it me or does the bass knob on the katana sound like its not doing anything on the distorted tone
ОтветитьThe Marshall sounded closest to actual Deftones. Great riff choice btw.
That said, the Katana sounds the most generic-less unique- than the others, but also sounds the best overall.
I think Boss takes the cake , man
ОтветитьVery creative video man... Tks.
ОтветитьI must be the odd one out, I was reading the comments while listening. The two that made me look up to check because they sounded good were the katana and fender. The ones that sounded bad enough to make me look were the blackstar and marshal. To each their own lol
Ответитьbro that fender 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
ОтветитьI got the lt 50 and katana mk1, well, it is not difficult to get tonnes of usable tones. Nah, only the factory presets are boxy. You just need to create your own settings and it is good.
Katana sounds a bit like my marshall oirigin 20-ice picking. There are some nice tones too.
But in the end i kept the LT 50, there are a lot of surprises if you spend sometimes to tweet the compressor and 5 band EQ. With 20 amp sims and all the effects, its hard to get boring with it. Some of the amp sim works well with most pedals.
I acknoledged the Avril Avril Song🤩😍🐀
ОтветитьSo, the Katana and the Silverline are modelingamps? Exactly what kind of amps are they modeled after?
ОтветитьI am sure about BOSS KATANA!!..Extremely powerfull and best quality sound considering Clean and Drive definately..
ОтветитьThat is probably the best amp comparission video I've ever seen! Right on mate!
ОтветитьMarshall sounds like shit..Blackstar ALL the way
Ответитьyou have to turn off the cab emulation on the Marshall, it's for direct recording only
Ответитьjimmy eat world
ОтветитьThe blackstar wins for me, only because aside from eq, it has other voicings, so the possibilities are quite endless.
ОтветитьBoss 😍👍👌
ОтветитьWanted to like the Fender or Marshall, but it’s the Boss or Blackstar…IMO
ОтветитьCool. *a nux mighty lite buys* poor i am
ОтветитьBoss Katana embarrassing the rest of the modeling amp industry
Ответить
