Ответитьsleep deprivation. the true horror
ОтветитьI like how Yagrum is still alive in the mod, because he’s technically the only truly necessary npc for the main quest.
ОтветитьMy favourite part of this is the realistic part of several people going 'haha scary mod' and then getting bored and leaving out of frustration.
ОтветитьMorrowind in itself has such an alien fantasy world and combined with the older graphics can really make your imagination go a little wild.
ОтветитьThe author of the most famous gaming creepy-pasta (Alex Hall the guy who wrote Ben Drowned) has said several times in interviews that this was one of his favorite creepypastas. I can see why this one was really cool
Ответитьplaying morrowind itself is a creepypasta
Ответитьgotta come back to the classics actually scared me
ОтветитьEverybody Gangsta until a guard in an Elder Scrolls game says “Watch the skies, traveler.” In a game set before or after the dragon crisis.
ОтветитьThe typing noises throw me off you should turn it down
ОтветитьJust in time for Halloween
ОтветитьYall don't realize jvk was a real thing. I remember when it first started showing up late 2003 early 2004. It boggled my mind that someone wrote about it so many years later. I remember it ruined my saves and game and I had to reinstall the disk entirely. Super unnerving that this was on my computer at one point. Who knows what sort of weird stuff the mod did.
ОтветитьOmfg i want my wrist injury to heal. I cant even flick my right wrist
Ответить"I'm swimming out to The Citadel Island. And I can hear this tapping. It's at my window. It's over on the left, so I'm sending you this, because I left my laptop by my bed, to the right. Just a little *taptaptaptap*... like he's knocking his finger against the glass. I might still be dreaming now."
That is the scariest part of the story for me
I Can’t believe I’m actually Bored with one of your videos?
ОтветитьAlways gonna come back to this. This is the best reading of it imho.
Edit: also good sleep material
Is that symbiote spiderman?
ОтветитьI recently started to play Morrowind for the first time after years of knowing about this creepypasta.
Knowing how Morrowind actually works, plays and feels, instead of having to imagine it based on my Skyrim experience, made this way creepier.
Worst thing of all is that this is a plausible story. Incoherent stuff aside like having to play Morrowind on Dosbox of all things and this nameless modding board that no one knows about, the horrifying thing about this creepypasta is how effectively blurs reality with what can be a attributed to the delusions of a sleep deprived individual, all just by using the power of mods.
I saw a guy that made a video on an April's Fool version of this mod that works surprisingly similar. If someone could make an accurate version of JVK based on this story, what's stopping people from going insane due lack of sleep?
Man, do some more takes or some editing. It was painful to listen to you stumble and hesitate and freeze up. Had to turn it off.
ОтветитьClassic story. Probably my favorite gaming creepypasta.
ОтветитьI wouldn't be surprised if this mod (if it were real) was some sort of elaborate malicious troll. Keep the player invested with a slow drip mystery that requires you to keep the game running for a very long period of time, which will frustrate the player and leave them sleep deprived trying to find the solution to mod when really there is likely no solution.
Jokes aside, this is one of the few gaming creepypastas that remains good. Unsettling, not over the top, intriguing, no obvious supernatural elements. Honestly sounds like something that could be real.
I make a pilgrimage to this creepypasta every year. The mystery, the genuine setting, that twist where the narrator asks around for a link, is it just curiosity or perhaps after playing it once, he's doomed to become addicted
It's such a great pasta, not like some of the trashy ones you get.
What’s cool about this one is the new rules in the game set up a challenge for the player, so it feels like a legit quest and not just a house of spooks.
ОтветитьWatch the skys traveler... might be some weird stuff related to a creepypasta I read once... well okay I didnt read it I listened to it while getting ready for bed but still .. or it could be a fucking dragon.. either way shits rough out there for a khajit.
ОтветитьI think this takes place im some alternate universe where the sixth house won and everyone is either dead or part of the sixth house
ОтветитьC0DA makes it canon
ОтветитьOk this is just too spooky.
ОтветитьDoor opened and he just got rick rolled
ОтветитьVENOM!!!
ОтветитьStill my favorite creepypasta of all time besides Ted the caver
ОтветитьI still think about this in 2021 what a time to be alive
ОтветитьStill amazing hearing “Watch the skies, traveler.” in Skyrim. Yes it’s referring to the dragons in Skyrim, but it can also be seen as an eerie reference/call back to this story.
ОтветитьThis is my favorite creepypasta.
Ответить“I’d like to see this for myself….”
Damn fool.
Not only is there an error in the first 30 seconds (you said "Morrowind Jvk116z.esp" and forgot a '6' in there), everything described here sounds like you're reading lines off a sheet of paper with every creepypasta buzz phrase in it.
Made it really hard to believe anything with how fake it all sounded
You clever bastard. We are watching the sky and creepy shit pops up.
ОтветитьI honestly genuinely truly wish this was a real mod that had a creepy pasta made about it, and wasn’t just a creepy mod pasta.
Ответитьbro who found my mod
ОтветитьWhat is that piano piece in the background? I listen to piano when I read sometimes
ОтветитьI remember a theory, that if the arachnid creature man is defeated and if the game is somehow beat, a secret unlocks, key to saving the world from an expanding sun, because that was why the health loss is caused because apparently the rivers were dried up with bodies in there in this creepypasta if I remember
ОтветитьVery creative name
ОтветитьIs this the same person as CreepsMcPasta? Because the plagiarism is strong otherwise.
ОтветитьI remember playing this a good few years back. It took me forever, but I remember I had eventually figured out the puzzle and opened the locked door to The Citadel.
....AND THEN A SKELETON POPPED OUT
