I would say the commute is easy from hotels that are a little far. MG Marg hotels are expensive, way too expensive, even the small rooms with no amenities are expensive. Commute is cheap and you can make up for the commute money with cheap and good hotels you can find away from the center.

I want to visit Sikkim this year, what will be best time to visit if I want to experience moderate weather?(don't want to visit in too cold weather and want to avoid rainy season as well)

I pray that BJP politics will not make the sikkimese fight each other like it happened in Manipur.
