Bitcoin vs. Litecoin (Which Is Better?)

Thank you Matt for your informative videos. You keep saying in your videos that bitcoin is worth as much as gold, even more, because it is mined like gold and is scarce. I wonder what is mined? What algorithms are computed by computers? Are these algorithms beneficial to the economy, science development, etc?

litecoin is the first crypto i've ever bought, so it will always hold a place in my heart.
having said that i've sold all my litecoin and currently in bitcoin and other alts with more gains 😂

I dont know what bitcoin or litecoin is . But I read bitcoin is a deep state coin and has no value behind it. The coin was made by Queen Elizabeth for child trafficking purposes. Good comparison. There’s one thing that might be neglected here. Litecoin has a strong community of believers and (especially at the beginning of the next bullrun) retail will start to buy LTC because Bitcoin has become “too expensive” in their view. LTC has a psychological nice price...

I’m super newby to crypto. My understanding; If lite is same as bitcoin in terms of tech, and actually better in terms of electricity usage why would I buy Bitcoin from 18k usd?

When you say Litecoin is a cut and paste of Bitcoin is incorrect and lazy reporting. Litecoin is an improvement to Bitcoin in many ways, but Bitcoin has more hype behind it which causes the price to soar.

2.53 hours wait for a $1 million dollar settlement?

OK, not every transaction is $1 million + what about transactions under 100k. those are also frequent in many businesses if not more. Especially if crypto becomes widely adopted and outsides of just the Financial/Tech Sectors we could see much use for LTC.

the thing you havent mentioned about litecoin is the transaction fees are nearly 0 or a coule cents compared to bitcoin so i do think litecoin has a good place in crypto unlike ethereum

I don't know about what the situation is like now, but in January 2018 I wanted to send someone $10 worth of Bitcoin and it would have cost me $24 to send $10! I then chose to send $10 of Litecoin and it cost me 40 cents....something wrong with that picture? Has Bitcoin fixed that problem? I really don't know but just one experience like that puts one off of sending payments using Bitcoin when a much cheaper and faster alternative like Litecoin exists.

This video didnt assure me that BTC is better than LTC. All you said is that people are more invested into btc so btc is better. The utility seems like it would essentially better in LTC.
