Movie aren't 60 hours longs , they still make you cry in 2hours and that's art bigger than game

I wanted to play as Aurthur more in another game of rdr but I dont think we will get to know what really happened on the boat when they escaped Pinkertons in the 1st chapter

Ill never be able to explain how good this moment was in game with words. It was 2am in the morning and i was just emotionally broken hearing the voices of past characters alongside this song. Rockstars greatest achievement for me, doubt ill ever experience something like this again. ❤

You know a story ia great when it makes people wanna be better

The last time I was so attached to a game was the original Max Payne and Mafia. Good storywriting always wins and stays with you forever. Red Dead Redemption, both the games are just that.

I keep coming back to this video. I despise Rockstar for a lot their recent actions, but if there's one thing they've done perfectly, it's Arthur's character development. I've never felt such an emotional investment in a character as I have with Arthur Morgan. The last ride scene made me cry and it will always stick with me. Plus the "thank you" to your horse stabs my heart a bit, too.

when i first bought this game i didnt know what i was going to get myself into

2023 3rd Oct And I just played this last night believe me It tickled my heart, had tears but didn't cry. This is the best game I played after The last of Us series.

Made me cry as if I lost a friend

Best game i ever played... Sad Arthur ending

There were many things that I did in this game that gave me head-canons on what Arthur was like and how he interacted with others. I’m going to leave them below and see if anyone likes them.

1. I saved Jimmy brooks and kept his pen to remember him by. From then on every time I would open my satchel I would see that pen and remember Jimmy. Then Mary-Beth asked for a pen, and I gave her Jimmy’s pen. That pen that had been a reminder of someone for Arthur was know the same for Mary-Beth. I like to think that the pen I saw her use in the final cutscenes was the same pen that Arthur gave her, thus remembering him.
2. During the final mission Arthur didn’t have max honor but was very close, maybe he killed someone needlessly and forgot about them, much like me. I helped John up the mountain and I’m doing so, gave Arthur max honor, therefore reaching redemption in not only John’s eyes but in mine also.
3. After American venom, I have never worn Arthur’s hat. I felt that having Arthur’s hat symbolized johns inability to let go of the past. But after killing Micah he finally felt that he could leave that time in his life and not look back. Thus, I’ve never worn Arthur’s hat after that mission symbolizing John moving on from that life.

Dude I know my comment is a bit late but I decided to come to this video, I’m doing another play through and I’m currently on chapter 4. I’ve been collecting everything, I got Micah’s gun early, I have the ultimate edition content, I have pretty high honor, I think a level 3. I remember the first time I got to the last mission with Arthur I wanted to punch something because I knew there was no way I could save or find another way for Arthur to live.

You wouldn't believe how aggressive I was before I played this game. I had the lowest honor, and as soon as this scene played, I felt more remorse than I ever felt in my entire goddamn life.
When Arthur pulled out his gamblers hat, I didn't even bother trying to see if I could switch back to my Nevada Hat, I just wanted Arthurs' last choices to matter.

I hadn't shed a tear for a long time, and this broke the streak.

There are no words to describe this game and this character.

Red dead redemption 2 is an honest to god masterpiece. It is so masterfully written it stands on par with the best movies ever made. Arthur has to be one of the best written characters in fiction and is easily my favorite characters in gaming. That beautiful writing combined with the gorgeous world you explore... red dead redemption 2 is a once in a lifetime experience, and I cannot reccomend anyone who sees this play it enough. I like to think myself a pretty hardy man, and games/movies don't get me to tear up much... but Arthur's last ride and bidding goodbye to Arthur as a character was emotional, and I'm not ashamed to admit that tears were shed.

I'm making my girlfriend play gtaV's campaign, and helping her when she can't finish a mission or when a fight is a bit too hard for her. When she finishes the game, I'll make her play rdr2, and experience it. She kinda laughed at me when i told her this game made me cry but she'll understand when she plays the game

Arthur Morgan is not just a character he's an inspiration to me to be a good person no matter how bad the world can be you can always do good and be kind to others!! The best character so far to have come in Rockstar 🥺😭😭
