When I double click FNVpatch it says FalloutNV.exe not found

long and painful process, but so damn worth it! i was lost wondering why my game crashes everytime i open it but then i watched this video and its running so clean! thank you so very much!

I have New Vegs downloaded through xbox game pass. I found the folder to drop the path in. When I run the patch it tells me it cant fid New Vegas.exe even though its in the correct folder. what should I do?

after i download the x86 bit, i cant find the link to the language options

WORST TUTORIAL EVER. I don't know why but I am following every step restarting my pc installing all the redistributables having vortex and keeping everything the way you are and my game crashes every time I try to load into it. Mind you i have a 2060 and an i5 so i shouldnt have any trouble. Thanks for wasting my time immensely. Maybe make an updated version of this video because everything i download up to the tic fix doesnt work at all.

Hi all. New to modding, Nexus, Vortex ect so will need things explained in basic terms lol. Started downloading mods for Fallout: New Vegas and thought I was doing so correctly but Vortex is telling me I have 0 active mods. Not sure what the issue is. Any help would be great, Thanks

There I was thining. Awesom easy to follow, lets see if vortex works this time. Installed latest nvse so I was not getting the stupid "your games younger than the old" message. Patched it for Epic games. Checked it was working on consol. Yep. Installed a MOD. Nothing. try again, manually so I know for sure its in the DATA folder. Nope. Tried MOD manager instead of vortex. Nope, load order will not change

Can i follow this steps in 2023 or they're outdated?

He Script Extender doesnt appear on nexus, neither any of the nvse or things

I did see the message of the mod configuration menu installed but i do not see it in my pause menu. I forgot to add that

When i got to the mod configuration menu part I do not see it. I already put the MCM BugFix 2 file overwrite in the FNV game data folder (I downloaded file manually then place the file on the game folder and overwrite/replace the .esp file). I did not use Vortex or was there a way to do it there. I am using the Fallout New Vegas GOG version. Can you help.

When I installed the vortex manager, I run it and it says I need to update the Microsoft net. It also had a button to update the net, Should I update from here? Does updating the net affect any applications or games in my computer?

Also, is it okay to install the Vortex in my other hard drive not the main drive in my computer or will there be issues?

I did everything you said but when I had to test with the console in the main menu, my keyboard somehow didn't open it. Then Vortex didn't see the game. I installed Vortex and the game same drive or searched it from the tile with the file directory but nothing. No manageable games appeared. Pls help, I really want to enjoy this game without bugs.

I think this is out of date, i did everything correctly. Just a fair warning to other people trying, dont waste your time.
Unless someone figured out a different way let me know.

so if you your computer is a 86 version you need to download the times 64 version?

I download and mod Fallout at least once a year and everytime I skip a step 😅 thanks for the great video! I always use this as a reference to dbl check my setup ❤

The nvse_config.ini file doesn’t work

How do I fix nvse installer not showing up vortex? It shows up in the dashboard but not in the extensions or mod area.

Vortex isn't displaying a Script extender option, even when I search for it.

Idk what it is but every person has launcher.exe but mine just says FalloutNVLauncher. No exe. And when I try to launch it from the files it says error. But I also have a FalloutNV application that launched the game. I’m wondering why mine is so different from everyone else’s I see

I can’t find script extension in vortex, spent $20 on epic to not be able to mod this game and spent another $20 to get 40 minutes deep into this video for no script extension to pop up in vortex im so lost and about to quit please help
