I don't have PTSD and I've never fought in a war, but somehow this song hits me very deep. One of the most unique rock songs I've ever heard, and my God, Buck on this performance is on fire
ОтветитьMy go-to song when I'm beaten down and depressed. Like now. It gives me the strength 💪 to get up.
Ответитьim still in the trench with you. you are not alone
ОтветитьWho else is here because of the Heavy Metal soundtrack?
Wow, great music ✊👍
And it’s completely IMPROVISED!
ОтветитьI watched it live on mtv. Best solo EVER PERIOD!
ОтветитьSaw them on the 81 tour at the Hampton Coliseum.
ОтветитьIn my top 20 of the best solo ever, live or not.
ОтветитьIt's such a shame the epic monster of a guitar solo is not in the original version.
Mad respect though
Are you kidding me? Buck Dharma killing it. Love the vocals. All around awesome live performance.
ОтветитьMy favorite guitar solo EVER!
Ответитьthe best of the bestest
ОтветитьYou see me now, a veteran
Of a thousand psychic wars
I've been living on the edge so long
Where the winds of limbo roar
And I'm young enough to look at
And far too old to see
All the scars are on the inside
I'm not sure if there's anything left of me
Don't let these shakes go on
It's time we had a break from it
It's time we had some leave
We've been living in the flames
We've been eating up our brains
Oh, please, don't let these shakes go on
You ask me why I'm weary
Why I can't speak to you
You blame me for my silence
Say it's time I changed and grew
But the war's still going on, dear
And there's no end that I know
And I can't say if we're ever-
I can't say if we're ever gonna be free
Don't let these shakes go on
It's time we had a break from it
It's time we had some leave
We've been living in the flames
We've been eating up our brains
Oh, please, don't let these shakes go on
You see me now, a veteran
Of a thousand psychic wars
My energy's spent at last
And my armor is destroyed
I have used up all my weapons
And I'm helpless and bereaved
Wounds are all I'm made of
Did I hear you say that this is victory?
Don't let these shakes go on
It's time we had a break from it
Send me to the rear
Where the tides of madness swell
And been sliding into Hell
Oh, please, don't let these shakes go on
Don't let these shakes go on
Don't let these shakes go on
KICKING ASS MUSIC! Love it!
ОтветитьÌ can relate to this song as a combat veteran, it's all about PTSD
Ответитьno guitar solo has ever melted my face as hard as that magnificent reckoning of a performace
ОтветитьI never get enough of this video! One of Eric's finest vocal performances. Heck the whole bad was great...soooo tight! But Buck...OMG that lead was beyond amazing! I agree with the poster who said it was a religious experience...probably tge best description of that solo I've heard.
ОтветитьBuck at the top of his game
ОтветитьF'n A man, that solo is way too good. Let is not overlook how great the band is though, and how Damn perfect Mr.Bloom sings this! Really impressed by Mr.Downey as well!
ОтветитьBest solo Buck played the best concert too
ОтветитьOne of the best bands to ever come down the pike, underrated. Seen them many times, always top shelve live on stage, I definitely saw the band on this tour, immaculate
ОтветитьIhanaa musiikkia, tykkään todella!!!
ОтветитьBuck Dharma is seriously underrated as a guitarist
ОтветитьUnder rated guitar player!! This solo, damn...😮
ОтветитьBOC was kicking on 8 cylinders here, pure classic rock, no band today could match this
ОтветитьSo good it damage my brain. Amazing band and a killer guitar solo. haha thanks
ОтветитьAmazing version! Buck Dharma is an incredible ead guitar man! El solo es impresionante. Rick Downey me imñresiona en la bateria!
ОтветитьGreat job blending all that together
ОтветитьThey ruined the guitar solo with a comercial interruption. wtf…..
ОтветитьBest solo ever.
ОтветитьDid anyone noticed lyrics here was written By Michael Moorcock?
Ответить:)
ОтветитьLive is good like originally.
ОтветитьBucks sounds like a million bucks. What a band.
Ответить🎉This I such a brilliant version of this great track!
Ответитьapotheosis
ОтветитьThank you so very kindly !
ОтветитьCrappy camera work. When Buck's solo starts, the camera should be on him
ОтветитьThe "best cover" of VotPW...
ОтветитьAt their best, this is a complete masterpiece. I was fortunate to see them in 1984, but really wish I could have been at this show. Half of the Extra Terrestrial Live album came from this show.
ОтветитьBuck Dharma is an awesome guitar player.
ОтветитьThis Is Fire 🔥🙏🏽💙🌿
ОтветитьThis is one of my favorite bands of all time I saw them five times they were very talented 😎😎😎
ОтветитьI've seen these guys live many times since the 70's right through to the 2000's and they never disappoint. True rock legends. My dream concert would be BOC with Opeth opening for them.
ОтветитьAs far as I am concerned, greatest solo ever.
