If you have 5 population with only 1 hunter food is inadequate, so i suggest 1 per 4population,


Advanced tip

During winter you will gather 3 wheat only per worker compared to non winter you get 8 so there will be food shortage and your people will eventually die.

you better prepare wheat storage and put a large stock in case winter comes nobody dies. Now i got 6k wheat for 230 people for winter and i still gather more and more during non winter season. Get rid of hunters in late game

Using snipers are not wise choice they require most of your people gathering scrap mats

Im newbie and i already figure out that you can shift assignments, night defenders could also be day gatherers

The game has a huge skill curve because of not being able to store much meat early game. I wish agriculture was easier to unlock
