You would of made an extra $20 on that job if you knew how to solder. That could add up to $300-400 per week or $15-20k per year.
ОтветитьId just sweat on male adapters and run stainless flex lines
ОтветитьMy question is why make it so hard to replace the water heater? I’ve seen water heaters installed with just a channel lock and a pipe wrench
Ответить🤦🏽 I know this is a stupid question, but can you still flux and solder joint later on if leaks occur?
ОтветитьOnly angle jaws no regular jaws? (Just asking because we have both and the regular jaws are easier sometimes)
ОтветитьNo good. Tank wrong way, can’t drain out or be flushed. Bladder will be toast premature
ОтветитьNow that’s how I call making money on a water heater
ОтветитьLooks clean and good on you for knowing to mark your fittings on pro press. Only gripe is the way you mounted the expansion tank. If/when that fills with water that’s going to put a lot of tension on that long piece of copper you used.
ОтветитьLol why are you using the C1 head for easily accessible fittings?
ОтветитьWhat? No isolation valves?
ОтветитьI hate this crap now what do you do if it’s a emergency
ОтветитьThis dude obviously doesn't know what he is doing, sure he has a new toy but with no dielectric unions on the galvanized pipe connections it's going to rot through plus if we're me I would solder all the joints - he probably can't solder .
ОтветитьWHAT ?
Will those unions hold pressure ???
Please put a finger between those jawz and show the result for safety sake? Ty...
ОтветитьMuy buen trabajo felicitaciones, el único detalle faltan unas tuercas union para futuros mantenimientos solo eso pero de lo demás es excelente
Ответитьpush and pulls baby we love them!
ОтветитьGonna suck if you have to remove the water heater. No unions.
Ответить😂 На от.бись, вообще есть специальный флюс с припоем и эта вся песня Паяется.
ОтветитьGood installation but the guy is not using dielectric unions smh.
ОтветитьBrass fitting between galvanized and copper tubing and your good. If you want to take it a step further… a union and a ball valve to replace expansion tank would be nice.
ОтветитьKinda memorized by that tool. I've watched this on a loop
ОтветитьCan someone please tell me what that copper clamper tool is called and what brand makes it? I’m sick of soldering
ОтветитьWhere's your vacuum breaker?
ОтветитьAll that to leave an old gate valve installed 🤣
Ответитьin dallas the inspectors need a union nut or flexible hoses if it doesn't pass inspection
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьRealmente será a prueba de fugas, resistirá alta presión, agua, gas o vapor.
ОтветитьFreakin sweet!!!
Ответитьthis would fail any inspection. ALL tanks that have 3 inch exhausts must be changed to 4 inch exhaust pipes when swapping out tanks for a new one.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you finish the job and replace the flue? Also what was used to prevent electrolysis?
ОтветитьLove the propress and c1 kit!
Ответитьالله إعاونك وتبارك الله عليك بلومبي فنان....حتى أنا لي نفس الحرفة بلومبي
ОтветитьSo what’s the purpose of that expansion tank?? I’m not a plumber 👨🔧
ОтветитьNeed some music or voice over explaining your process… great werk though (and that’s what’s more important)
ОтветитьGlad I just retired, it won't be long before some cunt will use these fittings on gas
ОтветитьCopper to galvanized pipe should have a dielectric union to prevent rust in a future. Other than that, it looks good 👍
ОтветитьNice clean install.
ОтветитьDid you ever try the pro press x female t’s? Viega definitely makes the best ones. We use them and then just strap the expansion tank with banding iron and stove bolts
ОтветитьPro press looks cheap to me, I still prefer to solder it up myself. Has the benefit of less copper waste when making repairs as well as just looking better.
That said pro press does have it's place. Like repairing a 2 inch line in a hotel where draining water takes 5 hours.
In which country will such antiques be installed in 2023?
ОтветитьGreat job man. Keep’em coming. Glad I found your channel. What model Ridgid Pro-press are you using.
ОтветитьI would have put a union on hotand cold that way the heater is easier to replace but everything else . Me gusta
ОтветитьThat’s awesome. Great job on installing that expansion tank with the proper bracket..
ОтветитьNo dielectric unions?
ОтветитьI’m curious what the sharpie marks are for before you press it
ОтветитьNope don’t like it
ОтветитьDodgy dodgy dodgy
Ответить¿Cómo se llama esa herramienta y dónde se puede comprar? Gracias.
ОтветитьYou know do you ever feel like propress and pex are killing our trade making it to easy so homeowner can do it just wondering if sweating pipe is gonna be obsolete whole reason I became a plumber is fire 🔥😁
